Speaking of 97.5, it is only a matter of time before they are playing country music, that station is headed down the tubes

Yeah they continue to get crushed in ratings. Really some guys on there that i actually think are better hosts than some at WIP. Last night I was listening to WIP on my ride home. Reminded me their weekend people and night time people are absolutely brutal. Callers make it even worse.

Impressive 2 for last 22 with RISP. Basically the story of the 2023 Phillies

We did it! We got a hit. We are now 3 for 24 with RISP!!!

and now is 3 for 25 RISP

going to marte… who the padres lit up last year is a strategy

Love this offens:whistle:

the Phillies let nola walk this offseason then they really should go after snell. He’s been really good this year and even last year he was good. He’s 30 and of i remember correctly he’s actually friends with Harper (even though he broke his hand last year on that pitch)

Yup that figures…

Wtf. Why is hall batting in that situation and not harper?

So you didn’t pinch hit harper for hall whom was a DH where you could’ve kept the DH but harper for Rojas who’s likely needed for his defense. Bad decision here if it goes to extras and having to play schwarber in the OF or apparently stubbs in the OF to hold onto schwarber staying in the game

Nice!! Let's goooooo

Beautiful

Finally we started to hit!

Got a roy oswalt moment here

Love the Phillies but this team hitting wise is super maddening. You see things like the 8th inning today where they look the part. With the collection of talent they have in this lineup, they easily should be top five in baseball in runs. For whatever reason they have been bad for the majority of the year with runners in scoring position besides Alec Bohm and Bryson Stott.

Kruck is saying this right now. Said if they play up to their abilities they should be the best in baseball

They miss Rhys. For as bad as his defense is at first and his cold streaks were super cold, he could get red hot and really carry the Phillies. He was also usually good with RISP as he hits .256. Last year he was .292 with RISP

Maybe we will get lucky and one of these kids that get called up get hot or Hall even.

I think hall is what he is. Can’t hit lefties. Likely a guy for his career that gets a couple call ups but never really sticks unless he goes to a bad team that is losing anyway and just plays him.

i think they make a move at the deadline for a bat. Buster onley put out what I’ve been saying for weeks which is go get bellinger. He plays every outfield spot and 1st and having a really good year hitting. He’s hitting .302/.357/.518/.875. He’s a 2 month rental so if he gets a qualifying offer (likely) you’d get picks back for him leaving. He likely costs you one of your higher OF prospects and a likely a pitching prospect that’s not McGarry, painter or Abel. The only issue with him is that he’s a left-handed bat. And you prefer a right hander. But at this point if he’s going to hit 300 and have that type of on base %, I don’t give a crap if he’s left or right handed they need someone like that.
