I still trust kimbrel. However they can’t use him like they have. However tonight I’d have used him knowing the royals and nats are the next two series. Good time to not use him as much the next week but use him tonight before those two series

I’m guessing Thomson is going to say the only reason he used him was because of necessity at that point. However, I don’t like when you put a closer in a situation that’s not his normal. Having an inning start with a guy at second for closer is not normal. Add on if they are picking up signs then its being relayed from second. Apparently that’s why they did the balk to start the inning. Just use him for the 9th and then don’t use him the next couple days
