So taking him out of the lineup for a defensive replacement would make no difference at this time cause he sucks. doesn’t help that Dominguez walked 2 guys. Correction three guys now
August 16, 20232 yr Fing A… well that’s it. We’re not going to be able to score 1 let alone 2 runs to win this game.

August 16, 20232 yr Jays needed that win, thanks dipsheet Thompson and **** dominguez , I just can;t understand the constant obsession with cave and schwarber, they blow

August 16, 20232 yr The Marsh injury is killing us defensively because its forcing us to leave Schwarber out in left all the time. Dude is an absolute liability out there, and when hes cold as he is now at the plate hes just completely useless. I am pretty much done with the Kyle Schwarber experience, I like the guy, like his long home runs, but please god get this guy out of the leadoff spot and out of the field.
August 16, 20232 yr At this point, I don't know how you can put Seranthony on the roster for playoffs (assuming we don't collapse out of them in September). He is just too out of control - too many walks

He is just too out of control - too many walks They need to start playing around with trying Sanchez and/or Walker in the pen now. Rotation for the playoffs will likely be Wheeler, Nola, Lorenzen, and Suarez anyway. Or at least it should be, maybe they swap Walker for Suarez but I wouldn’t. I could see Sanchez being really good out of the pen.

He is just too out of control - too many walks I don’t disagree with you. But I know the Phillies aren’t going to think that way. We forget when SerAnthony Dominguez came back from his injury last year middle of September (sept 11). He was not good leading into the playoffs. Once he returned til the end of the season he had a 11.57 ERA. Then he seem to find it again. So I’m guessing their belief is that he’s going to find it again even if it’s not happening.

Schwarber and him had the two worst averages with runners in scoring position. He leads the team with runners stranded in scoring position. Frankly i just think his body is breaking down from all the innings he’s played over the years at the catcher position.
