August 19, 20232 yr If my research is correct, Turner is the 3rd Phillie in history to hit two homeruns in one inning, joining Andy Seminick and Von Hayes. I remember Von Hayes doing it, but Andy Seminick was a little bit before my time.
August 19, 20232 yr Just now, John Blutarski said: Who is Luis F Ortiz? I gotta look this guy up. He’s been here before. He only plays when games are out of reach. He sucks

August 20, 20232 yr I’m betting she tried to explain the fantasy football waiver wire and he got upset
August 20, 20232 yr What an absolute pathetic showing by Wheeler. This is why I have zero faith in this team in the playoffs. Pitching is absolute trash, and it all starts with Wheeler and Nola. Their ceiling is the divisional round and that's being generous.

In fairness wheeler has been fantastic against everyone but the nationals. He needs to be better in the situation, but the Phillies are stupid for sending them out there knowing how bad he was against the nationals this year with a series against Giants, which is massive coming up on Monday. Wheeler has pitched 16.2 innings and given up 18 ER for. 9.72 ERA. Everyone else he’s pitched 129.1 innings, given up 44ERs and 3.06 ERA
August 20, 20232 yr Should’ve known after the Phillies blew up for 12 runs yesterday they do little offensively today.

I just checked his last 5 starts and the most earned runs he has given up was 3, ironically against Washington. It just irritates me that he came out small in this game when they need to win this series. I guess if they won on Friday night, this game wouldn't irritate me as much.
