But that speed is going to be a huge weapon once he cleans things up a little bit and gets more accustomed to playing at this level. As he just showed on that triple.

They really should have him working with Trea Turner. Turner is one of the best in the league at stealing bases. For all the problems, Trea Turner has had this year. The one thing he’s been incredible at from start to finish is stealing bases.

Yep, I agree. He's already an elite defender and offensively if he can be what Victorino was, that would be incredible.

Good news is Hoffman didn’t have to throw many pitches there. Would have been even more annoying if he had to battle and throw a bunch because Covey couldn’t protect an 8 run lead.
