WAR is relative to the player’s position, so comparing a catcher to an outfielder or third basemen doesn’t really work. But in a vacuum, I agree, Casty and Bohm have performed much better than JT this season.

His biggest issue is RISP. He’s left the most men stranded and hitting with the worst average on the team. If he was just hitting like .250 with RISP his numbers would look a lot better. It’s like this month he’s hitting .298 without Risp and with .200
