Not insurmountable but with their approaches at the plate and BP arms they are likely to see it’s gonna be an uphill battle. The difference between coming back vs. angels or cardinals then brewers. It’s why i said to igglephan in the blog you really don’t want to be playing from behind as much against better teams/in the playoffs. Tend to face better arms and press more. likely seeing payamps for the 8th and Devin Williams in the 9th. They have a 2.05 and 1.46 era respectively

I’ve watched him enough over the years and killing the Phillies when he was with the nationals to know how good he was. It’s why I had that long response earlier in the season I said I could see him having like a Castellanos type bounce back in 2024. His career kind of alluded to it. To be honest, Castellanos career was less of an indicator that he would bounce back. I also think that world baseball classic kind of screwed with him and realmuto. The only one that’s been consistent in who he’s been after playing in that tournament on the Phillies has been Kyle Schwarber.
