Could’ve won 2 of 3 if the bullpen and bohm could field a baseball. Still better than getting swept

That’s a win. We take those. Good job by the pitching all around today, we needed this one

Very important W today

Really need to get stott, castellanos and harper going. Awful series for them.

harper 0-12 and 3Ks

stott 0-12 and 5 Ks

castellanos 1-12 and 7Ks

good news Turner stayed hot and realmuto seems to be figuring things out (4-9 2 HRs and only 1 K)

also, not talked about enough is that Ranger Suárez didn’t let a snowball become an avalanche. They got down 2-0 and he easily could’ve imploded when they loaded the bases. Instead, he managed to keep it at 2 runs so that the Phillies later on in the game could come back and win. Unlike Aaron Nola, yesterday that imploded and the game got out of reach.

Phillies: Justin Crawford, OF (No. 3/MLB No. 81)
Crawford hit so well with Single-A Clearwater he earned a bump up to High-A in his first full season of pro ball at age 19. The Phils’ first-rounder from last year continues to make a ton of contact and get on base, while making some encouraging strides in terms of driving the ball, to the tune of a .375/.446/.578 line over the past month. For the year, he’s hit .336/.393/.466 with 44 steals.

I know we've been talking about Rojas and Pache as future pieces, but Justin Crawford is looking like he's going to be a superstar.

I’ve thought for a while that one of their outfielders in their system is getting dealt for another position of need whether it’s SP or catcher when they need to replace relamuto

It's a good problem to have, and one that is rare for the Phillies. We usually don't have any minor league position players worth a crap so it's nice to see a surplus of outfielders who actually look promising. And yeah, we ain't keeping them all.

Yeah, they’re definitely not keeping all of them. I would try to keep Crawford because I think he has the highest upside. He has superstar potential. I think de La Cruz is likely the one that they would want to deal. I also don’t think abel and McGarry are both going to be on this team. So you’re probably looking at a package of De La Cruz and McGarry.

It is nice to have outfield prospects that seem to have bright futures for once. Who is the last outfield prospect they had that actually was worth a damn? Burrell? Before that, Luzinski?

I kinda recall Luzinski being a first base prospect who was moved to outfield late in the process.

But yeah, you may be right. Unless you want to count Lonnie Smith, who eventually had a career.

How about a catcher

Are you asking the last one the Phillies developed? I guess Ruiz. He was drafted as a teenager out of Panama if I recall correctly.

Is there anyone decent in the system now?

Not at the moment they traded their best catching prospect last year at the deadline for marsh.

Is Marchan not good?

his issue is really he hasnt stayed healthy the last 2 years and he’s gonna be 25 next year. So unless he’s the main backup and stubbs is gone. Still think O’hoppe was the better prospect and they dealt him. Makes me think they don’t think he’s a can’t miss guy

surprised they didn’t DH schwarber and harper at first to play both pache and Rojas.

Facing a pitcher today that they call "Dick Mountain” that’s friggin hilarious. They better tee off on him

It's like batting practice today. Hope Walker doesn't cough it up.

Nah Walkers not the one I’m worried about it’s after him

It's amazing....Turner was struggling, our offense was anemic......Turner gets going after the standing ovation and presto, our offense looks to be unstoppable.
