If the Phillies can get Suarez’s pitch count up i kind of expect him to either go on IL or a few starts he gets skipped.

Nola has been a disaster and Ranger has been hurt twice and hasn’t made the jump so you are asking him to be your 2/3. He’s more of a back end 3 and a solid 4. This still goes back to if Nola was as good as he was last year (regular season) and Ranger made the leap we anticipated and didn’t get hurt walker in the 4 spot has been fine.
September 5, 20232 yr The bullpen is a disaster. That soto trade has been completely awful. Granted what they gave up havent been very good either.

September 5, 20232 yr Bullpen sucks. Another 3 years taken off my life for an 8-1 killing to a 9-7 almost another embarrassing disaster. A win is a win and we take em but our bullpen is completely gassed, all of our pitchers in general. It’s not looking good for the postseason right now

It seems between Turner and Stott there is some sort of delay in either getting the ball to the bag or getting the ball to first. Just seems slow to me. We were definitely spoiled with the Utley/Rollins duo.

But at least Hoffman, kimbrel and Alvarado managed to not give up any. That said i get we scored 9 runs. Should never be in this type of position when you score 9 runs. but we were also 3-17 with RISP. This game is likely more of a blowout and not as stressful if we just go 5-17

I remember the one game they talked about Stott and having that long wind up to throw and how he needs to shorten it up and be quicker with his release
