Great start!  Would be nice to close this one out today.  I'd be happy with a 8-5 type game with some HRs.

Same here except my wife and the boss at work are as much a fan as me. They enable me.

I would still be nervous going into the bottom of the ninth.

So apparently one of the games he got lit up was against the marlins. He thinks they are reading his signs when they are at second base. And he doesn’t use the ear piece apparently.

Marlins talking a lot of crap

They should be confident because of Nola pitching. I don’t trust Nola one bit in the postseason now more so because how awful he’s been this season and especially against Miami. We’re gonna need 7-8 runs tonight. I hope I’m wrong

I ran every stop sign I could today in honor of Bryce!  Let’s goooooo!!!

The Marlin’s version of John Clark could post these stats from CBS Sports to go along with their lineup.

Nola had a 6.75 ERA in three starts against the Marlins, giving up 24 hits and only 16 innings of work. He also has a career 4.91 ERA in the postseason, well above his regular season baseline.

Nope.

They said on the post game show that they're looking at the way he grips the ball in his glove

fritz and seltzer were on with sheil on a podcast. Were told by people in the Phillies organization that kimbrel felt the marlins were picking up his signs or knew what he was throwing when they got guys at second base. So it’d make sense if they were seeing his grip. It’s not sign stealing but they knew what was coming cause they were at second and picked up on his grip. Also fritz who does produces for the radio side said he doesn’t like using the ear piece and prefers going by signals

Don’t see how the marlins don’t tie the series up tonight unless the offense goes crazy

My dream of a 93 rematch is headed towards the crapper:thumbdown:
