October 4, 20232 yr Great start! Would be nice to close this one out today. I'd be happy with a 8-5 type game with some HRs.

I don’t trust Nola one bit in the postseason now more so because how awful he’s been this season and especially against Miami. We’re gonna need 7-8 runs tonight. I hope I’m wrong

Nola had a 6.75 ERA in three starts against the Marlins, giving up 24 hits and only 16 innings of work. He also has a career 4.91 ERA in the postseason, well above his regular season baseline.

They said on the post game show that they're looking at the way he grips the ball in his glove fritz and seltzer were on with sheil on a podcast. Were told by people in the Phillies organization that kimbrel felt the marlins were picking up his signs or knew what he was throwing when they got guys at second base. So it’d make sense if they were seeing his grip. It’s not sign stealing but they knew what was coming cause they were at second and picked up on his grip. Also fritz who does produces for the radio side said he doesn’t like using the ear piece and prefers going by signals
October 4, 20232 yr Don’t see how the marlins don’t tie the series up tonight unless the offense goes crazy
