October 10, 20232 yr We’ll take the split, gotta forget about this one and take the series at home now

I’m hoping they prove me wrong but usually when you have a team on the ropes and let back into it, tends to not go well

The Braves aren’t gonna just roll over and die, now we have the advantage with Red October, we win game 3 and we are in good shape

Problem is you don’t know what nola you are getting. If you get good nola you’d feel confident but could get hot Braves bats followed with a bad nola.

Confident why? this happens often with Wheeler, they lost game 2 against ATL last year, lost game 2 against houston, lost game 6, i have zero confidence of a game 5 win

It’s all up to Nola, this is his biggest performance to date so far, we’re gonna have to have great Nola to have a chance and the way he’s been these last few starts is a good sign so far. He’s been better lately and we need him more now than ever. It’s all up to him now
October 10, 20232 yr Looking forward to game 3. Nola will be on. Bats will be on. No errors. You know we would split in ATL. So bring it!!! I live or die Philly sports playoffs!!! Just bring it.

Didn’t say confidence. Good shape the fact you have your best pitcher going agains fried who has a blister situation. That’s about as good as you can ask for going into a game.

What people remember him by right now is how he pitched in the World Series and this past year. Has a chance to write a new narrative if he can pitch great and the Phillies keep advancing.

If we can do this I don’t see how we will lose game 3

So .231 avg. have to be better than that. Can’t leave villages on the base paths and expect to win games against teams like the Braves

If we can get one or two big hits with RISP then that changes things dramatically. Can’t keep leaving the bases loaded all the time

He is the extra bat in that line up that can bring home one or two runs with one swing and changes how the outcome of the game goes. As much as we get on Rhys for his field day and being really hot were really cold, this is the type of series where you miss him and could use the extra offense

Would like to see the bottom of the lineup come up big here in game 3 whether it’s Rojas, Marsh or Pache.
October 10, 20232 yr Thomson needs to stop with his bs lefty/righty garbage and just play Marsh every day. Pache offers nothing at the plate. He's basically a black hole in the lineup.

Rojas, marsh and pache have all been bad. They are a combined 2-26 (.076) and OBP of .133
October 10, 20232 yr Dear Mr. Middleton. Thank you for investing a lot of money into this team. If by chance you are extremely effing bored and reading a football website's page dedicated to your team. I would like to make note of the following...... Analytics can be nice. But we really need someone running the team day-to-day that has a feel for the game. Apparently there were only three people on earth that didn't see Wheeler hitting the wall : Wheeler Thompson Cotham The team quick hooked a guy doing well in game one and then left another in too long in game two..... Then we can talk about the fine defensive outfielderthat was sitting on the bench that can at least hit a bit..... Compared to the fine defensive outfielder that was playing that can't hit the broad side of a barn. Whenever this glorious ride ends, please check on your manager's ability to see what was obvious to the rest of the world. And thank you again for investing in the team.
