The thing you had was the invincibility of this ballpark and the crowd behind you. Had won 13 in a row here and now you are gonna get a tense crowd that’s likely expecting the worse to happen. So you are gonna like see a tight team. I compare it to 2011 and 2010 vs. cardinals and giants at home. Team just hit upright and couldn’t get anything going and the nervous energy spewed over and they lost. Tbh I’d be surprised if this team scores more than 2 tomorrow. Maybe I’m not far enough removed with my emotions but i just seen this story play out before.

Hoffman for 2. Alvarado for 2 (amazing he hasn’t pitched since Friday night). This is gonna come down to the offense tbh. If they don’t score 5 or more i think they are in trouble. The dbacks main bullpen guys ginkel and seawald have shut the Phillies down. So you are gonna have to hit Pfaadt and whatever other reliever prior.

October 24, 20232 yr Really curious what people on here think is considered a close game? Cause I got into a discussion with somebody on Twitter that the tying run in a 2 run game coming to the plate with one out and Craig Kimbrel on the mound is a close game. Was told that wasn’t cause win percentage all game had the Phillies around 80-90 percent.
