Nola..... at the end of this run ? Pack your stuff and say goodbye because after the look Harper gave you for not even trying to cover 1st base.....

you ain't coming back.

he was mentally taking himself right out of the game.....like so many other times....... that little extra effort he gave after his meltdown was pure luck...... or Harper threatened to kill him.

The manager can go with him. They have a blueprint that has beaten them 3 out of 4 games and he says do it again just like Houston. It is Fing stupid. Swap Bohm and Marsh....do something.

7th games are always fickle and anything can happen. Just come in relaxed and focused and take your cuts at the plate. Keep scratching at all times.

This Philly fan is like did you expect anything other than having a game 7?   Ugh.  Every single time.  It's like ground hog day. Everyday is game 7 day.

We got this. Love the approach, keep the entire bullpen loose for the next series by going 7 games in this one. Daycare comes through tonight.

Sloth hasn’t aged a bit.

I couldn't even sleep. You know what is coming and you have to watch just gor your heart to get ripped out more....and it happened in a way that will leave you wondering what if for a very long time. What if the manager didn't sink his team Friday and blow a gsme being stupid. What if he swapped Marsh to 4th or anything else to break up Bohm and Stott and not take his best player out of the game being stubborn. He won't see a good pitch all night. Turner will swing first pitch. We will have hope Nick will come back but he ran out of juice and will fan the pitchers with his bat all night. It's going to be a game 2 or 6 again from last year. Few hits, runners left on when they do, another team celebrating on our field.

They aren't just losing they are doing it ugly and painfully. They should have won but Robby T took it from us. Yes, players have to do their jobs, but you don't put in people that shaky and have absolutely no feel for the game. Managers shouldn't hurt their teams including leaving your star in a crappy spot just because. It didn't work last year and he doesn't freaking learn.

Anyone with a small baseball IQ knows a small move in the lineup has to be made, but nope. 3 hours of pain is coming. Another few months of randomly feeling sick over it is coming. People wonder why I'm negative. I love these teams and they always let us freaking down.

yep. they all do it.

What pissed me off with the we aren’t touching the lineup is, this lineup construction was only used 6 times in the second half of the season. So basically less than 10 times all year with this lineup. So going into the postseason you made a lineup where guys aren’t comfortable cause you didn’t use this lineup very much.

on top of this, stott for the year hits .218 in the 5 hole. Meanwhile 6 hole he hits .357 and 7 hole .353. Bohm in the 4 hole is hitting .253. Meanwhile 5 hole he hits .277 and 7 hole .321. And it’s not small sample sizes showing this. So the stupidity and stubbornness of using stott and bohm in situations where they are less productive is ridiculous. Like Phillies want to be an analytics type organization. Well the analytics tell you neither are at their best production wise  where you have them and it’s proven out to be that way during the regular season and now postseason.

Well, he already said he's not changing it up. They will need to find another way to win without them pitching to Schwarbs and Harper.  This game may well suck some more life outta me.

Makes it even dumber he won’t.  realmuto vs. dbacks this year is hitting .326 (14-43) with 3 HRs and 12RBIs in 13 games. The fact the Phillies champion themselves as an analytics organization and analytics screams at them what they are doing isn’t the best lineup. meanwhile the analytics tell you realmuto should bat behind harper for protection and moving stott/bohm into more comfortable spots in the lineup.

They both had pitches to hit last game. Harper seems to be Teflon. He gets off the hook for bad performances

I don't disagree with this at all.  Just saying it is what it is, and they're gonna have to find another way to this W.  If they lose, Topper will deserve the blame.

An NL Pennant, that's what's coming.

We have seen this movie so many times. EAGLES listed the stats and they are brutal for us in game 7s. The manager isn't countering their chess moves. The bats are cold. The best players won't see pitches and the team they played yesterday is back to being the team that swept the Dodgers. They are f'ed.

Ranger will pitch well but give up one or two runs. They will look lost as hell vs the kid. He'll put in Big K or Soto and they will get more runs. Harper won't see a good pitch all night.

Bless you for your optimism. I tried that yesterday and it's probably my fault they lost. I was calm and thought they are winning this. When I'm optimistic life says spin the wheel again.

Beat Dallas game 7 World Series then next day eagles beat Dallas

Matters worse is that turner and castellanos have reverted back to what castellanos was in 2022 and July and Turner before the ovation.

castellanos is 0 for his last 19 with 9 Ks

and Turner is 1 for his last 14.

I have such a negative outlook about tonight  I really don't even wanna watch.  I felt the same way about Saturday, but I was at a wedding and couldn't watch.  Maybe I should skip this one too

2011 NLDS vibes. Shutout 1-0

I may be crazy, but I hit Harper 2nd tonight. You want to pitch around both of them, then 2 on, none out. They can both hit lefties well enough.

Schwarber
Harper
Turner
Realmuto
Marsh
Catellanos
Stott
Bohm
Rojas

Frankly i really didn’t want to go to game 5 cause i felt like i was going to a funeral with how they were blowing it. Maybe best not to watch that way it won’t be ingrained in your head for the rest of your life lol
