I may be crazy, but I hit Harper 2nd tonight. You want to pitch around both of them, then 2 on, none out. They can both hit lefties well enough.

Schwarber
Harper
Turner
Realmuto
Marsh
Catellanos
Stott
Bohm
Rojas

They won’t do it due to the top of the lineup being LLRR. Makes for late game situations where dbacks would just go lefty to face schwarber and harper. Then righty for the next 3 of 4.

Alec Bohm is just 23-101 (.228) in 29 career playoff games with one home run and 24 strikeouts.

Bless you for your optimism. I tried that yesterday and it's probably my fault they lost. I was calm and thought they are winning this. When I'm optimistic life says spin the wheel again.

Optimism is usually not something I'm associated with. I'm just feeling this for some reason. They hit a little slump, but I think the fire is finally reaching their asses. They'll respond tonight. I think Bryce & Co. step it up and the pitching holds up well enough to make it to the W.S.

He is the kind of guy who gets worse the longer the slump lasts.  He doesn't have the confidence to stay within himself and right the ship.  He just keeps pressing harder and harder until he has Stevie Wonder swings with balls that are 2 feet outside the strike zone.

Bryce can't step up until Alec gets his crap together or they put someone else to protect him.  That being said, he needs to be more disciplined.  We all know he prefers a double or homerun to a walk, but we need to get baserunners on early and often.

Just saying this has been a very sixers-esque type of series for the Phillies.

Yep. Again, just like Friday everyone in the world can see this just not Robby T. It makes zero sense to leave him at 4. His confidence is already crap it can't get much lower. Move Marsh up since he's hot and put Bohm in his places cause of the stats EAGLES posted. Maybe it sparks them both and more importantly Harper may see some good pitches.

He won't and it will be just like Houston game 5 where they pitch around Harper and get the easy out right after him.....or even better a double play at the wrong moment.

And for the love of all that is....Robby T needs to slap Turner in the face like Hitch when he says I want to swing at the first pitch. Nope...you live right here. Take the first damn pitch.

His at bat in the 2nd inning last night was infuriating. Dope swings at 3 pitches not even close to the strike zone. Everyone in the stadium and at home expects Turner to swing at the first pitch and sure enough he does and the pitch isn't even close. Smart pitching and dumb hitting from a post season veteran.

Yeah just what they need, loser sixers vibes, why not have chuck fletcher sit in the dugout next, its over see you next year

As we settle in for the first-ever Phillies game 7, maybe this is cool only to me, but here is an article from the Philadelphia Inquirer from April 3, 1883. It's about the very first Phillies game, held the day before.

Game 7s are split pretty evenly between the home and away teams.  I think 50/50 is a pretty good indicator for tonight.  All the pressure is on the Phils which isn't a good thing but it is what it is.  Hopefully they are able to go out there with a relaxed (as possible) attitude and just play their game.  If they lose doing that then so be it as anything can happen in a single baseball game and it's too late now to worry about what happened in game 4 or grind on Nola's bad outing last night.

Well this is awful news

That is very strange.

Coach said all pitchers are available tonight except Nola. Surprised he wouldn't start with Wheeler. Ranger will be on a short leash I'm sure. But he's good under pressure.

Please win. 10 run first inning would do it

LFG!!!!!

LFG!

Over already. Ph***ers.
