I would really only accept a throwback, or something close to what they have. I would not like some nickname or abbreviation or area code on the jersey, but I would be fine with just a "P" on the jersey, like what may have been common 125 years ago. I thought the Braves Aaron-era was pretty nice. The Angels one fit into their color scheme, so that one was good. The Marlins one was good. I think the Mariners did a Griffey-era throwback, if I remember correctly, which is great.

December 2, 20232 yr Could you imagine if the full time DH rule existed back then and we could have kept Thome as a DH with Howard?
December 5, 20232 yr No offense this team as constructed isn’t good enough. Even adding some marginal pieces i don’t see them as good enough. They are gonna wind up taking a step back again and then you got guys like harper, wheeler, nola all one year older. I didn’t think this lineup was good enough last year without hoskins. I still don’t

Some new assistant hitting coaches is all thats needed? Yeah ok.

December 5, 20232 yr Stop having March conversations in December. 90% of these "rumors" are just disinformation being put out there by agents and rival GM's to cloud the market. Dave Dombrowski is one of the greatest and most aggressive baseball executives in MLB history. He already went out and signed one of the top pitchers on the market in Nola. Middleton spends money. I'm not concerned, at all.....
December 6, 20232 yr The Phillies paid Kimbrel 10 mil last year. After watching him run on fumes in the second half and completely melting down in the NLCS, what does Baltimore do? Gives him a raise. 13 mil for this year. Wow.
