Marte absolutely blew last season The thing with marte is he always has had electric stuff. His issue has always been his control. When he has good control, he can be really effective. But if his controls all over the place and he can’t find the strike zone or he’s leaving pitches straight down the middle. It gets hit hard. why he needed to be in the minors last year figuring it out.

That inning could have went either way. yeah, i looked at his pitch count part way through and he was at 22. overall the pitching has been fine minus a couple instances like nola's first start. the hitting needs to get going.
