I agree the runner on 2nd is not a good idea, I get that mlb wants shorter games but I just don’t like it

Call me contrarian but I like it a lot.  It definitely amps up the drama … the entertainment value. Definitely not boring.

Was at the game today. Down here for a work conference so got to squeeze it in. Honestly I felt somewhat bad for the 47 marlins fans that were there so I wasn’t too upset that we lost in extras.

What's the stadium like?  It looks huge and cavernous.  I don't recall ever seeing the roof open during a Phillies game, or any game I've seen taking place there.

It was ok. Cool in that it’s new and interesting with the roof and the huge windows in the outfield but you’re not really looking at anything worth seeing outside the windows. They had a nice marlins museum tucked away in one area, and a bobble head display of all these bobble heads from every team which was neat. Of the 8 baseball stadiums I’ve been to it’s probably towards the bottom though. Baseball is an outdoor sport…

Is JT hurt? I missed why Stubbs is starting for the 2nd game in a row

Nice job by Stubbs on the bunt to get a run across. Unfortunately Rojas didn’t swing at the two best pitches prior and marsh hit it back to the pitcher on the first pitch

What happened?

Soreness of his knee

Looks like Turnbull might be replacing Snachez in the rotatio soon and Rojas is a terrible CF, bad break on the double and almost cost them a run with the bobble

Nothing like our guys continuously just watching perfect pitches and not swinging.

Will they actually do it though? Turnbull is better than Walker and Sanchez

It looked like he took a horrible route to the ball. He's been pretty average this year in the field.

Not sure why Stott isn’t leading off in this game. Get him the most at bats especially since he’s been hot lately.

The one that did it for me was the ball he whiffed on running in trying to make the catch against the Marlins I believe. Just completely missed it

I’d consider dealing him. Marsh and Crawford are going to take up 2 of your 3 outfield spots in the future. When Castellanos is done just go spend on another OF. I’d use Rojas in a package if it means getting a better OF bat now. Frankly i kind of think he’ll always be a plus level fielder and a 225-250 hitter with low OBP

Sanchez blows tonight. He is nowhere close to the zone and when he does he gets pulverized

Looks like another loss in the column today.

Just saying since i posted this he got 9 straight strikes

lol wtf Sanchez? Now you wanna strike out 3 in a row? Did that "injury” fix you?

You really are a hard person to please.  Anything short of perfection doesn’t satisfy you

I really can’t blame Sanchez if they lose. Basically 6 innings giving up 3. If we can’t get more than a run on 4 hits that’s a bigger issue

What are you babbling about? All I said is they might lose today when the bases were loaded with no one out. Relax
