Because if you hit into a double play with one of the two batters , and then the other guy is an out then the inning is over with just two batters

But since marsh was playing center field in his rehab i wouldn’t be shocked if Rojas gets sent down. Pache doesn’t have options left. I don’t see them dumping their $9 mil investment in whit. Dahl has played really well and subject to waivers if I’ve read correctly. Rojas can go down there and play outfield everyday and hit everyday. Maybe build some confidence up

June 15, 20241 yr Our at bats each inning have progressively gotten worse. Rodriguez has 64 pitches through 5. Hasn’t had over 15 pitches in an inning the last 3 innings. That’s absolutely bad approaches at the plate. Doesn’t help Castellanos been miserable this series (0-7 and 1 for his last 12) and today has 2 outs on 2 pitches.

Last time Soto came in with guys he let on and gave up two. His first two starts i believe he gave up 3 run homer and 2 run homer in the 6th or 7th
