July 7, 20241 yr JFC Bohm ball hung up in the air for Fing forever. I thought double off the bat but that ball just took forever to come down

This is the first time he’s really consistently pitched (as a starter) from opening day til right now. He tends to miss time so he looks fresher. I think he’ll be fine just going through a midseason wall. id add the Phillies from opening day til June 9th (with realmuto) was 2.93. It’s been 4.00 (not including tonight) since he’s been out
July 7, 20241 yr It would be nice if the Phillies weren’t 3-15 with RISP in this series. also Dahl is 0 for his last 10 with 9Ks. Not sure I’ve seen a hitter ever have 10 at bats and strikeout on 9.

July 7, 20241 yr Stott would’ve had Ozuna if he went for the tag but I’m not sure he had enough time to react to do it.
July 7, 20241 yr 1 minute ago, Joe Shades 73 said: Suarez is straight garbage right now He’s not consistently hitting his spots. And he can’t get enough swing and misses with 2 strikes. Most of his Ks have come cause he caught them looking (4 of his 6 Ks) and given up hits when he has gotten ahead due to poor location and guys fouling stuff off
July 7, 20241 yr That Homerun feels like the game. Ranger right now has absolutely no control. He’s leaving things up in the zone and in parts of the plate where it is going to get crushed. When you add that into the fact he can’t get swings and misses right now you are gonna get destroyed. The control is a bigger issue. Pitches up and in the heart of the zone are going to get destroyed against good hitting

Just saying i don’t think that was realistic cause tend to believe they eventually sit him for 2-3 weeks if the lead was big enough. He always misses about 2-4 weeks in a season. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they IL him after this game and he’s eligible to return after the all star game, he only miss 1 start vs. the A’s and could get up to about 2.5 weeks off

JT is the best at it.
July 7, 20241 yr Marsh is safe if he doesn’t hesitate on contact. Looked like he may have been safe anyway.

I’m guessing they probably would’ve challenged it if they didn’t lose a challenge on the stott tag. Which was ridiculous because even on replay it showed that Ozuna was safe.

I also think part of this problem with Ranger Suarez is he always misses time so he’s clearly hit a wall. The reason why he usually looks fresher down the stretch is because he usually missed like 2 to 4 weeks like almost every year. I wouldn’t be so surprised if Ranger winds up on the 10 day IL after this game. the fact of the matter is he would only miss one start against the A’s. And with the off day Monday the Phillies can actually manage to skip him in the rotation and give him 2.5 weeks off.

July 7, 20241 yr What’s more amazing to me is that going into the series is the Braves had scored five or more runs just twice in their past 12 games. They face the Phillies and they have scored five runs or more in back to back games. They hadn’t done that in 3 weeks.
