My theory of if you have bases loaded with 1 out or less and don’t score the following then half inning you usually give up a run. My theory involves usually give up a run 75% of the time the next half inning if that occurs

Interesting.

Had a feeling they’d go Alvarado due to the bottom of the lineup and trying to get him on track.

alvarado’s control is just not there consistently. He’s all over the place one batter and the next it’s there and sometimes he loses it mid at bat.

He’s done that a bit this year when he struggles at the plate with his swing. I guess he changes it up to see if he gets a better grip but almost lost the bat on a swing his last at bat

You guys see me crying on tv at the Phillies/dbacks game it’s cause i wanted a ball

His last two bats have been better though. He’s seeing more pitches and making the pitchers work. His first couple at bats since coming back he was just swinging at everything trying to do something. So he’s starting to get back into a rhythm.

Now sweep the Sacramento athletics

Home sweep home

He’s a superstar I’m not worried about him

I passed out glad you guys didn't need me tonight lol. Although it is fun reading the posts while the game was going on knowing they won.... You would think this team was awful the way you guys go on during a game 🤣🤣

Tell me about it.  Crazy negativity

He’s right. As exciting as it is to sweep the Dodgers and be as far ahead of the Braves as we are, they need to finish. enjoy the ride getting there. But the thing that people remember about 2011 is less about what they did during the regular season but how it finished. left a sour taste in a lot of fans mouths. I still am not over that because that might’ve been the best Phillies roster/team I’ve seen in my lifetime. I thought for sure they were gonna win the World Series with how good they were during the regular season. So I’m happy that Brandon said what he did. I love the focus the team has on what the ultimate goal is

Did Rojas bust out a haiku with that quote?

How close is Turner to having enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting title?
