July 17, 20241 yr There has been a lot of talk about trading for the A’s closer Miller. The guy does have 5 years of control, but he also had UCL issues last year and has only pitched a total of 73 innings in his MLB career. Given his lack of track record and UCL issues in the past, I would not move Painter or Aiden Miller for him in a trade. Too risky.

July 18, 20241 yr A little over a week ago as I was perusing the Phillies’ outfield possibilities, my "walking fingers” came across an interesting name that would NOT be helpful this year, but is in my humble opinion a very good opportunity for the long term. Because it was not helpful in the short term, I didn’t bring it up. However, that possibility has seen a significant rise in profile over the past few days. Any guesses who the player is? I believe he is currently on a one year contract and a free agent at the end of the season.

That seems really fishy to me. It would be like the Phillies willing to part with Tijuan Walker.
