This is pretty awesome

So now turner decided to make a good play

Sanchez had the greatest all star game appearance of all time. 2 pitches 2 outs and good night

Post-game predictions on the World Series by Fox analysts and "analysts":

Derek Jeter: Phillies over Orioles

Alex Rodriguez: Yankees over Dodgers

David Ortiz: Red Sox over Phillies

Ortiz is worthless as an analyst at this point.  He's just a Red Sox homer.  Rodriguez picked the Yankees, sure, but it's more realistic for them to make the World Series.  (Rodriguez is absolutely terrible as a color commentator.)

There has been a lot of talk about trading for the A’s closer Miller. The guy does have 5 years of control, but he also had UCL issues last year and has only pitched a total of 73 innings in his MLB career. Given his lack of track record and UCL issues in the past, I would not move Painter or Aiden Miller for him in a trade. Too risky.

No Braves in September.

I’d like Mullins more if he wasn’t basically left handed Rojas this year and even last year

May 24, 25, and 26!

A little over a week ago as I was perusing the Phillies’ outfield possibilities, my "walking fingers” came across an interesting name that would NOT be helpful this year, but is in my humble opinion a very good opportunity for the long term.  Because it was not helpful in the short term, I didn’t bring it up.  However, that possibility has seen a significant rise in profile over the past few days.

Any guesses who the player is?  I believe he is currently on a one year contract and a free agent at the end of the season.

Idk but i think the suspects we will hear about are

Taylor Ward

mark Canha

lane Thomas

Jacob young

Jake McCarthy (don’t think with dbacks in the WC they deal him and especially not to a team they could see in the playoffs)

Randy arozerena

guys i think are either too expensive or things changed

bellinger— broke hand  so out too long and potential opt in

happ— owed too much money

Robert— too expensive in terms of prospects

Rooker— hasn’t played OF since May and is a bad fielder. Bat i think they love but I’m guessing if they didn’t want schwarber playing the field they don’t want rooker either

do think there’s a couple relievers they’d be in on not named miller:

finnegan (Nats)

Kirby Yates (rays)

Pete Fairbanks (rays)

Carlos estevez (angels)

Tanner Scott (marlins)

Tyler rogers (giants)

Jason Adam (rays)

Those are all "this season” names.  The player I have in mind is an " offseason acquisition as a Free Agent” name.

My bet is Lane Thomas. He crushes LHP. Perfect platoon mate with Marsh.

Should be Juan Soto. He’s an offseason acquisition. Maybe Anthony Santander cause he always kills us

Tbh i think he makes sense and i wouldn’t be surprised if finnegan is included in that trade.

Why would buyers in the Orioles be willing to part ways with Mullins?  That seems really fishy to me.  It would be like the Phillies willing to part with Tijuan Walker.
