Bad call on the strike but should not of come down to that so Phillies lose like they deserved too

What makes it more infuriating is that the third ball to haniger was the same Fing pitch he called Bryce Harper out on strikes. Literally the exact same location that he called the strike the inning before.

The Phillies don’t need help losing right now so the umpires can actually get Fing calls right.

Its just bad all around anymore. They just said on post game live that the ump was bad on both sides.

I’d argue he was far worse for the Phillies in critical spots than the mariners. He screwed Harper in the 9th where it’s 1st and 2nd with 1 out if he gets the call right. And then screwed estevez in the 10th. Mariners got far better calls late in that game then the Phillies did

This team can not sustain a long playoff run without going cold

3-11

The 0-10 road trip is looking good!

At least the marlins are out there helping us out

Whew.

All good now, on to the world Series

:groovy:

I didn’t get to see the game. Had an emergency with my dog. So apparently i can’t watch unless they go back to losing after this.

Not really. he has lung cancer. Had surgery about 10 months ago. It came back. So been doing chemo for a couple months but it’s been pretty resistant. So my oncologist and i took him off the oral as it wasn’t working, give him time for it to clear his system so we could get him on a different chemo that might work the following week. And last night he began coughing and hacking. So i took him to the ER vet cause it began being more severe and more rapidly.

Found through a CT that he has a couple really small tumors but a large one on the right side that right where bronchus meets the bronchioles. Since it metastasized it would just come back and there’s smaller ones that eventually I’d also have to have surgery to remove. Basically he’s still eating, going on walks and not in pain. But with the coughing and hacking it’s going to get worse unless new chemo can reduce the size and slow the progression. But more likely doesn’t have a lot of time left so i am going to have to make a decision.

I'm so sorry brother, my thoughts are with you.

Appreciate it. id spend everything i have if it meant i could cure him. But hoping at least the new chemo this week can help give him more time. I’d stop if i knew he was in pain and he wasn’t still wanting to go on walks, eat and begging for food.

They say as long as they are still eating regularly they are still living a good quality of life. So hopefully he keeps on eating for awhile longer for you.

I mean you were at games 3 and 4 in AZ

Was at games 4 and 5. The Phillies, eagles and sixers once lost 18 in a row when i went out to see them in Az. Actually had a 2 game winning streak with the eagles beating the cardinals and then the Phillies won a 15-2 game. Then they lost game 4 but won game 5.

That’s a real bummer. I am really sorry to hear about that. Hopefully the pup takes to the new chemo treatment and keeps on for a good while longer.

Sorry to hear.  Fingers crossed the new chemo works. Either way,  that dog sounds so lucky that you chose him. I'm sure he would tell you if he could, that you've been the best doggy daddy.

Oh man that is tough. I have a dog who is starting to get old now and I dread the day that I know is coming. I truly hope it all goes as well as possible for you.
