If I could trade in all the time wasted watching Phillies games in my life I could get another 20 years added on to my existence so i can bring more sunshine and positivity to even more people

I’d still prefer the root canal

I’ve honestly forgotten what consistent winning baseball looks like. Right now it looks like we are going to have 10 consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance and finishing without a winning record.

Have a chance to win back to back games for the first time in 26 games.

We won a game yesterday, if we win one today that's two in a row. If we win one tomorrow that's called a winning streak. It has happened before.

Typical Fleas.  Up 6-1 and now the BP is going to ish the bed while the bats go quiet.  How many losses has that combo generated over the past 5 years?  Has to be in the dozens.

The bullpen besides coonrod and neris and Alvarado so far This year has been bad. They are the only ones with ERAs under 6. Then you add bad defense, bad managing and inconsistent offense it’s recipe for disaster.

If you want some more bad news pivetta has pitched 31 innings and 6 starts this year. He has a 3.23 ERA.

They expected Bradley to either close or pitch in the 8th.  Which would/could be huge.  Hale should be shot off into the sun.  Brogdon was being considered as a 4th or 5th starter.  Which is also garbage.  I can’t believe the entire bullpen can’t pitch again.  The only real constant is from last season is Neris.  They basically rebuilt the BP and there are still struggles.   At some point you have to look deeper.  Preparation.  Management.  Decisions.  Coaching.  Sheesh.  Something.

Can add kintzler to be shot into the sun too. He and hale really Should only be mop Up duty with how they are pitching right now. The bigger surprise is i thought Romero would be better but he’s struggled out of the gate.

i think some of this is bullpen guys unless you have elite guys can be inconsistent year to year. Like kintzler the past two years but prior to that i believe he had a 7 era. This year so far closer to that 7 era guy. I also think some of this is our pitching coach/girardi aren’t doing a good job with managerial decisions and working through some of their struggles. Also i remember reading there was a lack of power pitching arms in the minors due to poor drafting and developing. We really only have neris, Romero and brogdon as guys that were homegrown in the system.

Wasn't going to work out here, but he will blow up eventually

Oh for sure. However Hes still been better than Anderson or Moore so far this season. Then again it’s not really that hard if you are just competent

If you had may 4 on the Roman Quinn first injury of the season you won the game

Shocking development

It really sucks that Kapler blew out Seranthony Dominguez and the medical staff delayed his surgery.

He had all of the makings of an elite closer

The delayed surgery was completely idiotic. They knew he needed it cause most of the time letting it heal on its own it’s just a ticking time bomb.

We’re going steaking!!!!!!!!

Chase Anderson be like

Not shocking Phillies up 5-0.  Then Anderson implodes and the bullpen can’t come through and it’s 5-4
