Only throw that disappointed me was the missed deep shot to Brown. Otherwise he didn't do too bad. OL did a good job keeping him clean most of the time which led to the Niners getting called for being overaggressive in coverage.

Some really questionable playcalling at times though. WR screens are still a waste of a down.

Sometimes I think they use the WR screen as way to keep the defense creeping up, so they can get a shot over top.

Yeah also he was close to throwing the ball into the dirt a few times, it almost seemed McNabb-like. He was just trying not to throw a pick, I guess.

Hurts running, the fear of him running, and this awesome O-line including a 7th round Aussie rugby player has just set the all-time record for rushing TDs in a season (regular + playoffs)

They can not like him running all they want. We like going to the SB more than they are capable of hating.

Difficult game to assess Hurts on. He didn’t look great throwing the football, but it became pretty clear early that the only way the Eagles could lose was through turnovers and he protected the ball really well. 

Anyway - we are in Super Bowl! One more game!

The run game really struggled early. They found themselves in a lot of 3rd and long situations, but it seemed like every time they went deep instead of just going for the first in that situation. The play calling was strange in this one. Despite all that we still dropped 31 on them. 😂 

Played a smart game.  Once we crippled Purdy the only thing that could beat us was turnovers.  Well done to play it close to the vest.

Not a particularly good game from Jalen, but it was a clean game at least. Protected the ball and managed the offense.
 

To me it seems pretty clear that the shoulder is a bigger issue than the team wants to let on. He won’t use it as an excuse but I do think it’s affecting him. Even seemed to get up a little slow on a couple runs when he got hit or landed on the shoulder. 
 

All that said, he completely took over that big key drive in the third quarter to basically seal the game with his legs. Whether it was the wind or his shoulder, it was clear he didn’t have it with the passing game today. But the kid is a winner and the clear leader of this team.
