Sometimes, keeping it as simple as NOT turning the ball over can go a long way. The Giants offense and a QBless Niners offense couldn’t match us, and playing clean worked well. Jalen will likely need to be more than just clean vs KC. He’ll need to be a playmaker in both senses, while still keeping the ball clean.

I’m glad he gets another two weeks to get healthier. Dickerson and Lane too will need this time.

Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

I wander if his shoulder injury has actually helped the team in a way. Maybe they don't want him throwing more than he has to and are happy to run the ball a bit more than usual.

Actually, he could play the same and we could still win.

120 passing yards isn't going to cut it against Mahomes.

It maybe a problem but, at the same time it can work if we are running the ball down their throats and the defense at least keeps it to a game in the 20's.

Look at that Happy smile.  CONTRACT EXTENTION LOCKED.

It will when the Eagles are grinding out 200+ on the ground.

Yeah, I heard similar about this week's game lol.

Yeah, that's okay. We should be running anyway and keeping Mahomes off the field.

I know people are quick to defend literally anything that isn't heaps of praise, but I don't think it's unreasonable to want a better performance in the Super Bowl.

Fair.

Now we just need to get KC down to their fifth option at QB.

Not a particularly good game from Jalen, but it was a clean game at least. Protected the ball and managed the offense.

To me it seems pretty clear that the shoulder is a bigger issue than the team wants to let on. He won’t use it as an excuse but I do think it’s affecting him. Even seemed to get up a little slow on a couple runs when he got hit or landed on the shoulder.

All that said, he completely took over that big key drive in the third quarter to basically seal the game with his legs. Whether it was the wind or his shoulder, it was clear he didn’t have it with the passing game today. But the kid is a winner and the clear leader of this team.

... and then ran on the very next play like he was fine.

Dont get me wrong, I'd prefer he throws for 400 yards.  Just saying there are lots of different ways to win a football game.

I don't care one way or another as long as we win. He can throw for five yards if it gets us a SB trophy.

Realistically speaking though, we need an A game from everyone. Not just him. Biggest game of the year, ya know?

Special teams needs to do better.  Any chance Siposs coming back ?

Absolutely, he needs to be better and it would go a long way towards having a better chance to win. I'm just saying it can be done throwing for 120 if everything else is clicking

Kansas City isn't carried by their defense like the 49ers. I seriously doubt we struggle to pass against them. Our offensive line is 10 times better than that garbage the Bengals had out there.

The flipside of that is people who were pretty vocal pre season that Hurts wasn't the answer, calling out every performance that isn't perfect  through the air as concerning evidence that this season was a flash in the pan.

We had a two score lead at half time in windy conditions against a team  who's only shot was a couple of defensive scores, of course the offense went conservative and put the game to bed.

The offense was what it needed to be against a good defense, it doesn't have to be more complicated or concerning than that.

He was off for most of the game. It's okay, you can acknowledge it and not have to turn in your fan card.

I think some people are getting a bit over confident. The Giants didn’t belong in the playoffs and the 49ers literally could not pass for a lot of the game. Give every credit to the Eagles for dominating both games but Mahomes and the Chiefs are a completely different challenge.

I still think the Eagles have a better team though.

Coming off the high there were definitely questionable decisions and throws. Also got scared on a couple of his runs lol

Once it was clear the 9ers were going to be unable to pass the ball, they should not have called any designed runs for Hurts.

I thought they should have gone to Minshew after the 9ers second possession of the second half after they went 3 and out and did not attempt a pass.

Hurts should have definitely been taken out of the game earlier. That was risky. 49ers were starting to get dirty too

According to the 49er fan I just talked to the eagles were the dirty team lol

Because they lost 2 QBs to normal injuries? The plays weren't illegal unlike the late hit from the 49ers player and the fight
