As I said, they didn't need to pass when they're up big, the 49ers have no QB and you're rushing all over them.  The 49ers were the #1 rush defense.  The Eagles had the 2nd highest total rush yards against them this season.  The Falcons had 168 yards early in the season.  Only 6 teams rushed for over 100 yards total on them.

The Eagles also scored the 3rd most points against the 49ers this season, only 2 other teams scored more against them than the Eagles.

Hurts isn't going to be a top passer in the league, but he's had some 300+ yard games, low turnovers throughout the year and his running ability as a dual threat affects the defenses.  They had the best record in the league and are in the Super Bowl...and we're complaining he didn't pass enough with a big lead against a team with no QB?

So?  Different QBs, different coaches, different playbook, different skill players, etc.  Both went to the SB though. 

Foles was also a very streaky player.  Before the NFCCG fans were worried because he was playing poorly or just average.  Vs the Falcons he had 246 yards, no TDs.  Before that he had 163 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.  Fans were worried it was going to be over.

This is another misconception of that game yesterday. "We rushed all over them". How quickly people forget just how much we had to scratch and claw for yards vs the 49ers. They had so many penalties on our scoring drives that kept us on the field. Sanders had the best YPC at 3.8. Gainwell had 3.4. 49ers defense killed themselves with penalties and the turnover just before half is really what did them in.

I didn't say he threw a perfect game with no mistakes, every QB is going to make mistakes.  I said don't judge his passing performance in that game because it was a unique situation.  When the team wins 31-7 on rushing TDs you don't need the QB to pass a lot.

Well its a good thing they were able to because Hurts wasnt going to win it for us with his nonexistent passing game.

37 rushing TDs in 17 games with Hurts. 163 yards per game with Hurts.

1 rushing TD in 2 games without Hurts. 77 yards per game rushing without Hurts.

 

Hurts was 4th in passer rating and 2nd in rushing TDs. This is the best dual threat QB in an offense that can put 300+ on you on the ground or through the air.

Also not to mention we ran the ball 44 times at 3.4 YPC. Thats not good lol. We had to take those 3.4 yards because Hurts couldnt get more than that with his arm.

The nitpicking in a blowout playoff win is so hilarious. It’s the playoffs. Nobody gets style points. You win, you advance. By hook or crook. Jalen hurts was one of the biggest reasons the rbs got their 3 tds. You guys are trying SO HARD to make this something it isn’t and hasn’t been all year. 
 

you want to FINALLY have a reason to say "I was right about hurts!”. You want a loss to be on him. Looks like you’ll have to wait until the Super Bowl. Maybe he’ll only throw for 50 yards and the eagles win 55-17. "He better play better in week 1 of the preseason or else!”
