Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

Dumb, fluke play.

Comments about his TDs and big plays?

Asking those guys to be positive about Hurts!?! 😂🤣😂

Some will only talk about the fumble. But otherwise he played really well. FWIW record for QB rush TDs in a game with 3.

It’s a shame he didn’t get a chance at the end. Chiefs had no answer for hurts. He’s the real deal

Earned his 50 milly a year

yeah. the only true positive to come out of this game is knowing we have our QB.

Hurts played great. He threw some dimes out there too.

His fumble cost the team. But what cost more? His fumble or the glaring incompetence by the defense?

oh well. It doesn’t matter. It was a good season.

Hurts left the game with a tied score and his defense had 5 minutes to stop them and get it back. They couldn’t do it.

The fumble did not decide the outcome, it would have been 4th down, they go the ball back after that and scored, they would not have had the ball, they would have punted, so they actually got another possession and they made up for the 7 points. If they did not score with the extra possession then it would have mattered

I know.

but I don’t care. I know the defense was pathetic tonight and the real reason the team lost.

but idgaf. At the end of the day, no superbowl victory. Idgaf about the rest.

For the people that are unable to think, I will explain one more time why the fumble did not matter, it would have been 4th down, end of possession, because the defense scored the Eagles received an extra possession they would not have had, when they scored that negated the fumble TD

We couldn't stop them much and they couldn't really stop us all that much either. Part of that is the nature of high end teams playing each other in the modern NFL.

So for me this was a team loss (not just D although they share a major responsibility for not showing up, especially in the 2nd half). But you simply can't spot Mahomes 14 points (Hurts fumble, ST return) and expect to win.

Especially without any plays from your D (no sacks, limited pressure, no turnovers).

The fact that we were within 3 is a testament mostly to how well Hurts played (fumble aside).

yup, it wouldn't have mattered, they would have probably scored on that possession and it would probably have been the same outcome, bottom line chiefs were the better team and we just didnt get it done, it was a tough matchup for us.

I am not even assuming the Chiefs get any points after the punt.

Didn't like some decisions he made and his hail mary was terrible

But he's still QB #1

It was a great game for 58 minutes, before that ticky-tack call.

Too bad there's no way to stop refs from insinuating themselves
into the game at critical moments with highly questionable calls.

This wasn't the first and won't be the last SB ruined by a stupid egotistical ref.

The NFL awarded the team that had the most calls all season the SB. Seems fitting for them to make that call, but the Eagles failed to make the stops needed earlier in that drive.

The Hurts fumble suuuuucked, but so did the special teams breakdown, the several WIDE open receivers, Gannon's defense, Sanders' fumble, the bad holding call, letting gimpy Mahomes get a huge run, making JuJu look like Jerry Rice.

I guess expecting some fans to understand why the fumble had no impact is asking too much

I mean, I'm not going to call anyone, because I'm just back and haven't seen any comments on the game thread. But anyone who blames Hurts/his fumble for the loss is an idiot. Hurts played out of his mind. We couldn't have asked for more. The Defense sucked all game and if it wasn't for a messed up call at the end of the game then I think Hurts wins it for us.

I'm gutted. But Hurts absolutely proved himself to be the franchise and that's something.

It takes some thinking why the fumble did not matter, but honestly even a person with a sub 100 IQ could understand after I explained, so they obviously just want to blame him

Refs cost Hurts a chance to tie or win. It’s a real shame.

The fumble was bad. It was inexcusable and it certainly was a factor in this game, but anyone trying to claim that was the cause of this loss is a buffoon.
