The fumble was bad. It was inexcusable and it certainly was a factor in this game, but anyone trying to claim that was the cause of this loss is a buffoon.

I know it sounds ridiculous but the fumble TD was actually a net positive, the received an extra possession and had a long drive which kept KC off the field for longer, it sounds silly because of the drama of a big defensive TD but it is not all because they scored with that extra possession it gave them.

Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

I was hoping the might try something a little more creative. Not that it mattered much regardless.

Sometimes a bad play or penalty actually ends up helping a team, that is what the fumble TD did in the first half. They would have punted but the TD gave the Eagles the ball back which that was an extra possession in the game, they scored on a long drive and that is part of why KC had such a low TOP in the first half. The scoring negated the Fumble TD, it is a possession they would not have had. The scoring and the long drive more than made up for the fumble TD

maddox was awful tonight and the LB's in run support and offense failure to get the run game going early. won't be sad to see both cordinators leave.

I hear the arguments, but the fumble TD was a bad play that hurt the team.

What is absolutely clear though is Hurts, apart from that, played out of his mind in a game that the Eagles were out coached and lost the trenches battle on both sides.

He was the ultimate weapon and deserved to win this game.

He fully deserves the huge contract he is going to get.

If Hurts was coached by Andy Reid, he would have been a nobody.

Overall that didn’t help as it seemed like the Chiefs came out in the second half and just steamrolled our defense. They barely played and they were the ones who looked winded.

Explained why it was not

No question: can't excuse the fumble.

But it wasn't THE reason they lost either.

That contract was a given before the game and if anyone thinks he’s not getting paid because of that fumble is a fool.

Extra halftime minutes helped

I didn't really understand the call right there. We had 6 seconds and I would have preferred a quick pass to the sideline for 8-12 more yards. The deep TD to Brown earlier traveled 56-57 yards in the air. That was Hurts' max range. He wasn't going to reach the endzone from that point on the field. We also could have tried to return the squib kick farther if we were just playing for a single hail mary.

I’ve seen them try a screen pass there also. Some type of trick play or anything would have been nice to see. It was basically a give up call.

So did poor defensive play calling and execution.

The field conditions played a big part (in making the defense look bad) as KC uses a lot more misdirection than we do. Have to give them credit for taking advantage of that.

And yet people want to blame Hurts 🙄. He doesn’t play defense.

Maddox had one of his worse games as an Eagle tonight. Just looked like a guy who hasn’t practiced much and missed a bunch of games. Gannon was outclassed tonight by Reid especially in the second half. Sounds like Steichen is going to the Colts. I doubt anyone wants Gannon.

Trick plays are garbage against today's defenses: (video should be queued for the final play)

You have to be nothing more than a troll to blame this loss on Hurts. 😂

I think we’d all throw in to get someone to take Gannon. Arizona or Houston please take him 🙏

The hail Mary throw had no shot to happen. Anything would have been better than that.

Pretty much. He doesn’t play defense.

Sometimes the next guy isn’t much better either though. Gotta be careful what you wish for.

The play had no shot to score (from where they were), but DPI is a possibility.

He literally put the team on his back and tied the game with 5 minutes left. What more could he have done? He scored the most points possible in a series to tie the game.😂
