Sometimes the next guy isn’t much better either though. Gotta be careful what you wish for.

True but they haven’t had a great DC in awhile. Schwartz was just as bad if not worse. Gannon has hidden behind talent all year and was just exposed big time.

Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

The play had no shot to score (from where they were), but DPI is a possibility.

I think the refs had their fill of weak PI calls for the game. The Chiefs sure did get a lot of those in the playoffs.

Hurts played well and tried his best to make up for that fumble but it cost them the game. Yes, the defense sucked, but his job is to not turn the ball over. The loss isn't on him, but he cost them the game with that. Had he not turned it over they could have gone up two scores and this is a very different game. After that he bawled out, though.

They should not in any way give him a contract extension now and not for what you might think.

1. They are going to change the QB sneak rules

2. Defenses catch up to offenses. Right now their plays are "unstoppable" but teams will catch up to the system they are running. I'd let him go another year to see if he can keep improving as a passer and how he reacts to defenses making adjustments. It might also let them keep a few people for one more shot next year.

He literally put the team on his back and tied the game with 5 minutes left. What more could he have done? He scored the most points possible in a series to tie the game.😂

Not fumble that one ball I guess. But that was his only blemish. Outside of that he had a great game.

You have to be nothing more than a troll to blame this loss on Hurts. 😂

You know it's coming.

Not even about to go back and read the thread this far but, Hurts balled out. I know he got several haters here that will blame the loss on him for that fumble. The defense choked this game away.

Yup he doesn’t play defense.

LOL no loss. They shouldn't give him an extension this year.

This is a ludicrous take.

You are not going to offer a 24 year old MVP finalist, second team All-Pro QB who just put up 35 points in a Super Bowl with zero help from his run game an extension?

You just hate Hurts.

So which pending FAs on defense played well enough in today's game to deserve being brought back for 1 more year?

No, I actually don't. I'm going to watch to see if he can still keep improving his passing skills, use the money to try to keep or sign other players, and watch to see how defenses adjust to take away some of the things they do well. Again, defenses catch up to systems. I want to see how he continues to grow and adjust. That's not a knock on him, but a I want to wait and see to ensure we don't get another Wentz. I'd also like the money to keep/sign other players. If that means they pay him 50 mil a  year vs 46 because they sign him this year that's fine with me.

Hating him would be me saying he doesn't deserve one based on talent. I don't think that's the case. I'm worry about defenses catching up to the system. I want to see how he grows and adapts.

CJG. Possibly end of list, but I'd need time to think. They need to bring in others.

CGJ, outside of that idk. Edwards was constantly out of place, Bradberry was a non factor, Graham did nothing, Hargrave did nothing, the list goes on.

374 total yards and 4 touchdowns in the Super Bowl. Only a troll/dope is trashing Hurts right now.

Congrats you win on a bogus call to end the game. Refs were probably in the locker room popping champagne with them.

Yup couldn’t agree with you more 👍

Those people should just give it up at this point if you’re trashing Hurts. Go root for one of these other teams with quarterbacks you like, because Jalen’s going nowhere.

I'm not trashing him at all. I said he bawled out after the fumble. That doesn't mean I'm rushing to pay him after what happened with Wentz and based on the fact that defenses catch up to systems. I don't see much downside to waiting one more year even if it costs them a few more million each year. If he plays like he did tonight he will darn well earn it. If something happens they aren't locked into a long term deal.

I mean Hurts knew they were losing anyways right? It was the script? In the WWE they act like they don’t know as well 🤪

Just now, xxeaglesfanxx said:

He has to say that. He’ll get fined if he says it wasn’t.

He doesn't have to say anything and you won't get fined for saying you disagree with a call.
