Hurts needs to find himself a millionaire super model so he can give us a discount 🤣🤣

And then he can lose what he does get it in a fraudulent crypto scam.

Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

Sanders isn't worth anywhere close to what he'll want.  Just atrocious in the most important game of the year.  Get rid of him.

Wasn't all his fault. The OL couldn't get much going on the ground. Which goes to show he's probably an avg back on a regular team. His best bet would be to stick around in terms of his career. But he'll follow the money and probably disappear in a year or two.

I’m still distraught but Jalen needs to take another step.

Quite frankly though, I’m not sure what that step is - he has already become a fantastic quarterback.

But if he ever wants to beat Mahomes, he has to reach a tier of his own.

Otherwise, since it’s clear Andy isn’t going to retire anytime soon, Mahomes will win 10 SBs or whatever.

Not sure I agree with this.  If the defense had given him any kind of support, he's a Super Bowl champion and MVP.

Check out Jahmyr Gibbs from Bama. Great hands, break away speed, great vision and great cuts. Robinson out of Texas will be going in the 1st round, I see Gibbs going in mid 2nd. He is a really fast beast who can catch the ball really good out of the back field.

Gibbs was criminally misused by O'Brien.

Unless the eagles get a one-cut, downhill, tackle-breaking rb, I don’t see the qb sneak in 3rd and 1/4th and 1 changing. Besides it’s actually one of the safest plays for a qb to run. The only way guys get hurt on it are completely freak accidents.

and as much as I would like hurts to not run so many qb draws and sweeps….. again, unless we get a one-cut, downhill rb, I can’t see that changing and I don’t know if I want it to. Vs KC the rbs did next to nothing running. When that happens, you put the ball in the hands of your best player and call run plays you feel certain about. When hurts runs on called sweeps/draws etc, the eagles have the "numbers” advantage everytime.

I agree that the passive concepts need to evolve and open up. The offense relies more on unstoppable plays with great execution and mismatches than scheming guys open.

Ask Mahomes how safe a QB sneak can be. You don't want to continuously put your franchise QB in a spot where a defender can tee off on his head or knees when he's anchored.

1 stop man... just 1 stop.

I guess that fumble wasn’t detrimental?

Did we ultimately win the game?

Exactly, Hurts played well enough to win. Heck, the eagles D was on the field like 10 mins in the first half and came out at halftime and laid an egg. With the talent they have on D I have to think its coaching. Didn't we also go through a stretch of 3 or 4 straight games where the QB's threw for 80+ percent completion rate. As someone else said, just had to make 1 stop in the second half.  Hopefully the cardinal hire Gannon soon and if we are lucky he takes the special teams coach and punter with him.

Definitely coaching. Reid set them up all game long. It was quite beautiful. They would run a look to see how the Eagles would react then countered it the next play or series. Ate Ganon alive.

Yeah I mean that second half just wasn't good enough by the defense. And to be honest it wasn't great by the offense in the second either. But ultimately they put up 35 points and with that we would have had enough to win the game. The D just didn't get the stops when we needed them to and the DL was just disappointing.

With the condition of the field he needed to adjust and either drop 8 into coverage or blitz. He was stubborn and stuck with the same base defense when it wasn't working because the pass rush couldn't get home and we got cooked.

One thing is for sure... when that pass rush didn't get home this year and the QB was somewhat competent, Eagles D got eaten alive.

Hurts was brilliant, but when your defense gives up 17 points in the 4th quarter against the best team in the league…well, we saw.

I'm torn... in the draft do you load up on offense to surround Hurts knowing that whatever happens you're going to end up in a shoot out against KC or do you go defense and just hope the DC is competent.

Defense is a necessity for this team. Load up in the secondary and another DT. I wouldn’t mind on offense a RB and 3rd WR, because Quez isn’t the guy.

My favorite RB this year.

We need to focus on defense wherever possible, whilst still drafting for value. Hurts has his weapons locked up. At some point they need to draft Johnson’s replacement.

The D is in desperate need of young talent.

Not in the slightest is he the guy....that pass that went through his hands, I am one hundred percent sure Smith would have caught that....

I agree with loading up in the secondary....its cool to let graham and cox walk at this point....we need to get younger.....

I don’t understand these arguments. The NFCE was most competitive division in NFC in ‘22. The eagles don’t determine strength of schedule it’s not their fault if most of NFC has a down year. The whole NFCS had each team finishing with a losing record.

The chiefs also had a weak schedule. Their SOS was worse than the eagles (including 2? divisional rivals with losing records) and they won the SB.

The NFCE was the most competitive division in the NFC because they all played a weak schedule.  4 of the weakest schedules in the NFL was in the NFC east.  It doesn't matter the schedule not their fault.  I never said it was.  I'm just saying that a weak schedule hurt the team.  Let's put it this way.  Let's say the Georgia Bulldogs who won their NCAA championship game played against any team in the NFL, who do you think will win?  The odds are high that the NFL team will win.  Why?  Because they are used to that level of competition.  Just because you are romping over weak teams doesn't mean you are a great team.  Almost every sports instructor or coach will tell you that to get better, you need to play against tougher competition, which the Eagles didn't have.  The AFC teams had a much more difficult schedule with I think Miami having the 3rd hardest schedule, the Bills having the 5th hardest schedule, and KC having the 10th or 14th hardest schedule.  That's much more than the 5th easiest schedule which the Eagles had.  Tell me what solid team did the Eagles play this year?  Dallas and New York were also beneficiaries of a weak schedule which is why they made the playoffs this year.  Obviously, there is no way to even out a schedule like in the MLB, NBA, or NHL when just 17 games are played.

"GLENDALE, Ariz. — Jalen Hurts apologized.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback tallied a game-high 374 total yards and accounted for a game-high four touchdowns.

The dual-threat player had alternated between throwing bombs to somersaulting receiver A.J. Brown, escaping tacklers to reset the record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in the Super Bowl, and powering that ever-reliable sneak to first downs and touchdowns. And the Eagles held a lead or tie for more than 53 minutes of the game.

And still, in the postgame locker room after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 38-35 victory, Hurts apologized.

"Jalen for sure was like, ‘Man, it’s on me, on the fumble,’” Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham said. "We all was talking, just kind of reminiscing on the game, and he just tried to apologize to the team.”

Seriously the biggest Hurts haters should even love this about Jalen.

It’s time to get younger. Both corners in the 30s. Cox and Graham are older now. It’s time to move forward.

He'll need a #1 RB and #3 receiver. Maybe some OL.

You should probably look back. There have been many people even trying to say that fumble cost them the game and some said his second half play wasn’t good enough.

It is INCREDIBLE to me that people in the other thread are even saying that....his lone mistake is what they zeroed in on like "see? we told you he just wasn't good".....smh....not at all sure why some people think they are fans...

I don't know man... doesn't seem like defense wins championships much anymore in this era with the different rules and such. Kind of like how the NBA is now 40 ft jumpers and a cloud of smoke. Superbowl scores have been pretty high lately with the exception of a few.
