Good time to remind: if you just want act like middle school cliques trolling and insulting each other go to RnR.

  • Just take a moment to realize how easy things look for this offense when the quarterback is right. This team just scored 28 points against a divisional opponent in a half. Just insane where things cou

The age old concept of compromise?

Even in compromise, he has to want it. To outright say Jalen won’t get a contract he desires is silly.

Kind of foolish to think at this point Hurts isn’t going to be paid a lot of money. Only someone who doesn’t comprehend the fact Jalen has reached elite level status would be confused by this.

Who is saying he won’t get a lot of money? Please point out one single post.

There’s a difference between what he wants and what he’ll agree to. That’s what a negotiation is.

No, it sounds like you’re trying to manipulate the word to mean something different. He knows there will be negotiations. If Howie gives him a compromise, and he says, "I don’t want that”, as you implied, then he’s not going to sign it. We can’t make him sign it, the best we can do is force some franchise tags on him… which it will never get to that.

He will get a contract he wants, Howie is good at this. Have faith

Anything under 50m AAV is a team friendly deal at this point. QB money is about to take another jump close to the 60m range.

No the poster plainly said he’ll get whatever he wants. What if he wants a fully guaranteed deal? But after discussing with his agent he’s talked into compromising for something else.

I want my employer to pay me ten times as much as I make right now. Market value dictates that’s not a reasonable ask, and ultimately I accept a salary I feel is fair. But it’s not necessarily what I want. There is a difference.

Jalen’s the best quarterback in the NFC and there isn’t anyone close. He’s getting paid.

That may not be your employer agreeing to whatever you want, but it is something you wanted or you’d never have agreed to it.

I think there’s a definite distinction between saying Jalen will get what he wants, and saying he’s going to ask for whatever he wants. The poster didn’t "plainly” say whatever he wants.

Lamar Jackson is a situation where the player tried to get whatever he wants and failed. Jalen is going to get a deal before the season starts, as you pointed out when you said no one is saying he isn’t going to sign. He will get one he wants, whether it’s record setting or team friendly. If he doesn’t want the compromise; he wouldn’t sign it.

That’s about as plain as it gets

Yes, we will offer him a contract he’ll want. But it won’t be whatever he wants, which is probably why DawkinsOwnage03 didn’t say that.

So then, by your logic….the post literally translates out to be…Hurts is gonna sign a contract with us. Wow, what insight.

He’s wrong tho…the Eagles are going to pay him what they and he both agree is fair. It may not be what either side "wants”

Confused reactions don't actually add anything. It's one of the reasons why they use them. Next best thing to a thumbs down/negative to them

I’m amazed people would actually care about reputation points in here.

Also, I identify as he/him, not a they/them

What happens then? Manchurian Candidate?

People have cared about post count for decades now. Caring post a reaction score seems on point

That was including you in a group of posters that have recently begun to constantly use that reaction

lol --- you either care (because you want to thumb down our posts) or must be brain-dead if English confuses you so much you have to identify as "confused."

Lamar Jackson is the rare combo of a stupid player and no agent.

No one GAVE Watson a fully guarantied contract like some birthday present. He was able to use the Panthers, Falcons, and Browns against each other.

I'm going to Carolina unless you can guarantee 200 million. Next, I'm going to Atlanta unless you fully guarantee the salary.

He negotiated between several teams to get his best deal.

Hurts can accept the % guarantee from Philly or he can make his 4.9 million next year and about 40 the year after on the franchise tag.

Good thing he is not a moron like Lamar and he has an agent.

Fully guarantied contracts get you Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons. The NFL owners are in no hurry to get there.
