January 22, 20232 yr Ok, so imagine this... our path to the Super Bowl started with the Giants. Suppose Dallass wins vs. the 49ers, and we play Dallass in the NFCCG. Further suppose that we beat them and get to the Super Bowl. We'll play that game in the Cardinals home stadium, So we'd have to play two NFC East rivals to get to the Super Bowl and play it in a former NFC East teams stadium. I would say 'former NFC East Rival', but the Cardinals were never really a 'rival'. They were just kind of there.

January 23, 20232 yr So here are the narratives: Chiefs: Huge comeback story on how Mahomes was able to gut it out with that leg injury! Bengles: So slighted and disrespected! Did you all forget they were in the Super Bowl last year!?! Eagles: Beat the Giants….. Cowboys (if they win): America’s Team is back where it belongs after beating the best defense in football! 49ers: Brock Purdy looking like the next Tom Brady! Doesn’t matter, cause they’re all catching the L no matter who’s up next.
January 24, 20232 yr You can think of last nights game this way: the Cowboys threw two ints, lost Pollard, and the 49ers still struggled to score and barely won, at home.

The 49ers have scored 19 points or less 4 times this year. The Eagles have done it once. The Eagles scored 34 against the Cowboys with a backup quarterback on the road. These are the two best teams in the NFC, but the Eagles have no reason to fear the 49ers.

February 1, 20232 yr The Kansas City Chiefs finished the season in first place with both passing yards ( 5,250), 41 TDs, and QB rate of 104.7 all lead the NFL. Which is part of the reason Patrick Mahomes II is the NFL's MVP, but he will be facing the NFL's best pass defense which only allowed 3,057 yards (1st in NFL) 17 team INTs (3rd in NFL), and only allowed 22 touchdowns all season (5th in NFL). Patrick will have to face NFL's best pass rush as well, and the Chiefs only finished 20th in rushing and against an Eagles defense that kept C-Mac under a 100 yards and only 1 TD. The Philadelphia Eagles pass defense (1st in NFL) will be tested by the NFL's best passing offense (1st in the NFL) and that really should be discussed more among the other headlines leading into this weekend. The Philadelphia Eagles offense will need to pass better than last week to win, and KC is ranked 19th against the pass and Eagles are ranked 8th. Time for AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith to get a few touchdowns since HBs got them last week. Let's look at the KC Chiefs defensive backs that they'll be going against. RCB L'Jarius Sneed - 6'1" 192lbs - 26 yo- 3 yrs ex - 65 tackles, 3.5 scks, 3 forced fumbles, 3 INT- (Injured concussion protocol may still play- would cover AJ Brown if he plays) LCB Trent McDuffie - 5'11" 193lbs - 22yo- Rookie 1st round 21st pick- 28 tackles-1 ff-7 pd - 0 INT Slot CB Joshua Williams - 6'3" 193lbs - Rookie in 4th round- 5 tackles, 1 PD, O INT Jaylen Watson - 6'01" wt 197- 24 yo- Rookie ----------------------------- FS Juan Thornhill 6' - 205lbs -43 tackles, 3 INT, 9 PD SS Justin Reid 6'1" 207lbs 59 Tackles, 7 PD 0 INT ----------------- Long story short I feel Brown & Smith win their matchups probably every down and if man-to-man Jalen Hurts should throw it to them deep but with better accuracy than last week. Eagles win 38 -23 KC Injuries CB Sneed, WRs Toney & Hardman, and possibly LB Willie Gay. https://apnews.com/article/kansas-city-chiefs-cincinnati-bengals-nfl-sports-ljarius-sneed-1d2d9bc326b5dff38516c2490a5bf581
