Already had to do 3 separate day trips there this year and now I have to do a 2 day overnight trip next week. Not looking forward to it.On mothers day I took schmoopie to NYC to get ink at Bang Bang tattoo. It was the first time in a LONG time that I took the subway. I was genuinely shocked at both how clean it was as well as how modernized it is. No more tickets\tokens, tap your phone to pay. Digital screens on the platforms letting you know how far off the trains are, digital screens in the trains showing you the upcoming stops. Was excellent.

You might have to clarify "football".😆

Not looking forward to it.Baltimore somehow got worse. 20-30 years ago the Inner Harbor used to be filled with lots of fun touristy stuff to do. You could just walk around and run into something fun. It is still there but it is gutted. Businesses are closing up. Everything has now sprinkled out amongst the suburbs. You have to look harder. Go out to the Under Armor complex, not far from downtown, and tour the distillery while it's still there - word is UA sales are slumping. I don't know how much longer it will be there. I was pleasantly surprised at the Horseshoe, thinking in downtown Baltimore it was going to be trashy, but it's really not bad for a casino. Camden Yards is still a good place to watch a ballgame 30 years in. Little Italy still has good food... Still some gems, but like I said you have to look harder, go further out. But don't go too far: West Baltimore = West Philly.

A lot of that is gone and the ebtire area just looks and feels diminished.
