When They Realized Women Were Using Their Sacks To Make Clothes For Their Children, Flour Mills Of The 1930s Started Using Flowered Fabric For Their Sacks (1939)

Can you imagine a company today doing this? The only way it would happen, would be if they could figure out a way to charge for the bag.

It was a unique response to a unique time.  But some other recent examples relevant to their own unique times are Bud Light bottling clean water, companies that repurposed their machines to make PPE during COVID, disaster relief efforts.  Some companies do things to also market themselves but a lot of companies do charity work, donate items and money, make discounts available for certain demographics like military, etc.

Women today would be outraged 1) By the patterns and quality of the fabric on the bags and they would demand better 2) How dare any person/company assume their gender 3)How dare a company not provide actual clothes, assuming women do manual labor tasks????

None of this would work in a woke society.

We have a few bottles of hand sanitizer made by a local distillery in response to the sanitizer shortages during the pandemic.  I'm holding on to those. A unique artifact for a unique period of time.

LOL-Whose foaming at the mouth?  Just- pointing out the reality of the situation of todays wokeness.   Funny how you think I am all upset over it?  I guess because you get upset, you think everyone does?

I dunno, weird assumption by you.

Turns out I am Transphobic.  I guess having a sexual preference at all makes you transphobic.  Who knew?

I posted a story about a flour company being stand up people..

You rant about wokeness in response.

Not 100% factual, You posted this below: I responded. I guess we should not  have a response, or not be allowed to respond?

Why should Biden send aid to a state that didn't vote for him?

The perfect time to run down the strategic reserves is when you're playing footsies with one of the other nuclear powers.
