I"m pretty happy with my WRs...RB is high risk high reward outside Barkley, and I don't like him all that much, but I think he's the consensus #2 pick. Fournette and Michel could either be great, or 5pts a game dudes. Guess we'll see.

Not going to lie, I was hoping you were going to go Zeke at #2 and have Barkley fall to me.

I just couldn't...I hate Zeke, and the Cowboys. Not a fan of Barkley or the Giants, but I don't hate them both like I hate the Cowboys.

It drives schmoopie nuts.  I have NO problem drafting players from rival teams.  If a really good player from the cowboys drops to me because people "dont want cowboys", I'll happily take the value pick.

 

This year I didn't want Zeke though.  Partially because I don't know if they are going to try to air it out with Cooper-Gallap-Lamb and partially because I'm concerned that there is a lot of wear on those tires. (Speaking of wear, I ALMOST took Thomas over Henery, but then my top two players are Saints)  So he'll probably be the top RB this year.

Yeah I would have went Thomas before Zeke actually. It's just kinda hard to draft a WR not named Antonio Brown circa 2012-2018.

I was trying to figure out a trade with you because I wanted to take two stud RBs at the top of the draft... but I think I am happy with who I got even though I would be shocked if they outscore either of yours.

I did! I had all my WR/RB/TE selected, with Fitzgerald (who was ranked like Rd 20 something) and Devonta Freeman (not even ranked) as my fall backs if any of the other WR/RB I had targeted didn't last. When those guys all got drafted mere picks before me, with nothing left buy NO-upside scrubs, I decided "might as well get some set and forget K and DST!" expecting Fitz and DF to be there. Then Mat took Fitz about 5 picks before me (so I went Anthony Miller I think as my hopeful). But that top K might average 4-5ppg over whoever else I could ave got taking one Rd 16!

Yeah, depth is for suckers.  You could have had both Miller and one of these:

There was someone at QB I was going to grab, can't remember who (Goff maybe?), but they went and there were still something like 5 dudes available that all ranked as "identical" in my book and didn't all share a BYE with my current guy. Maybe it was even Big Ben. I thought about maybe getting Russ early on but someone took him maybe top of Rd 4? There were a few things I would have done (maybe even Ertz Rd 4) had they fallen to me but none of them did, so I always had a plan in place that I tried to stick with.

In my other league, week 1 was a really bad week for one manager.  He had Michael Thomas (high ankle sprain), Marlon Mack (Torn Achellies) and Blake Jarwin (Torn ACL)

 

Melvin Gordon came through!!! I went to bed with him having two carries for 18 yards deep into what felt like 2nd quarter (tho I was passing out on couch... so maybe I missed to touches?). All this after JuJu went of. Glad to wake up happy this morning. 
 

In my other league, I was up by two and my opponent had Conner.  I thought I was toast.

I was watching it.  It went TE-WR-WR-WR before your first running back.

 

For a minute there I was thinking "Is Redden using the zero-running back strategy" until I saw it was auto.
