Honestly @Agent23, what made you think that was a good idea? I took Eagles Defense in EVERY daily yesterday. I havent had a no brainer defense pick like that in years.

Holy s*** Cousins was hot garbage for 2 straight weeks and Wentz was actually scoring, so I figured either Wentz does it 3 weeks in a row (outscoring Cousins, not doing fantasy-well) or Wentz does terrible which means Eagles should be doing outstanding, so that scenario still leaves me the opportunity of walking away feeling like I won

I just wasn't sure what any of it actually meant. Something like if people set their optimal line-ups or some wizardry like that?

Using the screenshot that had league standings based on standard format. Aka the league W-L record (which is the red text) and within that teams are ranked based on their PF. But the red record is based off the randomization of the H2H scoring format. The first green score is if we played against the field each week, so the top scoring team of any given week would have a record of 11-0 that week, so your 28-5 means that in 3 weeks and 33 opponent's scores on this season, only 5 times have you been outscored by anyone else in the league. (Which I believe was only Week 1, as you were highest scorer the past 2 weeks). The other green score is if we kept our H2H W-L record, but also awarded teams a Win if they scored in the top-6 that week, or awarded a L if they scored in the bottom 6. Essentially helps represent that the 2nd highest scoring team could lost to the 1st scoring team, so instead of getting a 0-1 record, they get a 1-1 record. Similarly, that 2nd scoring team catches an L while someone with the 10th or 11th lowest score plays the 12th scoring team and get a cheap 1-0 win. That person now gets a 1-1 record. So if you finish in the top-6 every single week, at worst your team is 14-14 when we reach playoffs, where in standard H2H a team could finish top-6 every week in scoring and still be possible to end the season with an 0-14 record.

September 28, 20223 yr the vs. all 11 other teams is pretty straightforward/norm. I have never played in one, but I have seen/heard of several leagues that do a H2H but they also award an additional win each week to teams in the top-half of scoring (top 5 or top 6 based on size of league) and that's just as easy to calculate so I'm tracking that more out of curiosity but the vs11 is the final total I'm most curious to monitor.

I just usually monitor if I beat the sheet out of my opponent. Keeps it easy that way… btw, when do I play you?

September 28, 20223 yr Imagine if Sirianni, after the Eagles got their asses kicked, got on the podium and said "yeah, we lost 38-21, but if we had played the ENTIRE league this week, we'd have won 6 of those games"

The Eagles would have an opportunity to stop the other 30 teams from scoring or get stomped out by the other 30 teams. Once we implement a league where we get to play defense (the closest thing to that would be we can set our opponents lineups each week) this is not remotely close to an accurate analogy or comparison.
