December 13, 20223 yr not only did spreadsheets lose to my terrible football team, he also lost to my terribel basketball team @Agent23
December 13, 20223 yr My team was not good this year. Swift was a massive disappointment, as was Murray.
December 13, 20223 yr Marcus Mariota says "You can't fire me, I quit" Quote Falcons QB Marcus Mariota leaves after benching; team unsure if he will return Atlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota has left the team with no indication of "when or if” he will return, according to The Athletic’s Josh Kendall. This news comes a day after head coach Arthur Smith announced that the team made a "performance based” decision to bench Mariota for third-round rookie Desmond Ridder ahead of the team’s Week 15 game against the New Orleans Saints. "Of course, you want all your guys to be here, but guys have to make decisions. It’s part of professional sports. You have to have contingency plans,” Smith said. Smith added on Monday that Mariota was also likely to be placed on injured reserve with what Smith described as a "chronic” knee injury. Mariota’s knee "is nothing that has been an issue this season, but that’s [his] prerogative so … ” Smith clarified via The Athletic on Tuesday. 'The conversations you have to have' Last week, Smith addressed the press and gave a preview of the looming decision to make a change at quarterback. "We will have some very intense meetings in the next couple of days. Obviously, I know where we’re at. We understand, too, that we’ve been in some close games lately and we need to get back over the hump,” Smith said. "There will be changes made. Everything that we decide to do I will be as transparent as possible.” That day, Smith also informed the press that Mariota wasn’t in the building because his wife went into labor with their first child. According to The Athletic, Smith informed Mariota that Ridder would be starting at quarterback on Thursday morning. Friday, the Falcons learned that Mariota planned to step away from the team. "Those [conversations] are never easy,” Smith said. "You try to be truthful, whether they agree or not, those are the conversations you have to have.” Mariota joined the Falcons this offseason on a two-year, $18.75 million deal after Atlanta traded Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts. He led Atlanta to a 5-8 record while ranking in the bottom half of the league in passing yards, passing touchdowns and competition percentage. His nine interceptions are tied for seventh-highest in the NFL. During the preseason, Ridder completed 60.1% of his passes for 431 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Smith told The Athletic that the Falcons believe the offense "can operate at full capacity” with him in the game. The Falcons are still in playoff contention, and need to win their remaining two divisional games to keep pace with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers. Now, the team has an opportunity to see what it has in Ridder before the end of the season, while Mariota tends to his knee and family

Teams with winning records tend to have winning records against the league while teams with losing records tended to have losing records against the league!!!! Agent, real talk. No one cared. No one. Not even mittens, who needs his litter box changed. Literally everyone who's ever played fantasy accepts scheduling is random. If you are going to put this much effort into compiling some sort of alternate reality record, why not one that can actually lead to trash talk? For example: optimal lineups. Figure out if the loser of a matchup could have won if they played the right people, and what their EOY record could have been. Or compile the point differential between their lineup and the optimal and having a rolling total to see who left the most points on the bench at the end of the season. Something that actually denotes skill or lack there of.

Or compile the point differential between their lineup and the optimal and having a rolling total to see who left the most points on the bench at the end of the season. Something that actually denotes skill or lack there of. We've had around 2 or 3 consecutive/previous seasons where one team finished with something like a 10-4 record and a 2 -seed and another with 5-9 record way out of playoff contention, where if you swapped their random scheduling with one another but left everything else the same, the 2-seed team would have wound up with with like a 4-10 record and 9th overall and the other team would have wound up with like a 2 or a 3-seed. AKA quality teams have gotten really screwed and crap teams have lucked out. This might have been the first season in a while a crap team didn't leapfrog 5-6 other squads. 9 hours ago, lynched1 said: Have you considered sniper pics at Starbucks? Rizza was the starbucks guy.

A simple "No, I won't add anything of value to the league" would have sufficed.

A lot of fantasy chatter on twitter has had some prominent fantasy football figures discussing that H2H should end with the regular season, and then once in the playoffs each round should be the top scoring teams moving on (like a group stage) with the champion being the person who finishes with the best score in the final playoff round.

So you agree that I'm last years real champ, if you really think about it.

I think they should do a re-draft each week of the playoffs. You can fill in roster gaps left by eliminated players by drafting from a pool of alive playoff teams. But you have to keep any players you still have from the regular season or previous playoff week (unless they're hurt). Top seeds enjoy draft priority.
