However, I've seen several polling experts talk about the polls being erroneously skewed toward Trump by 5% or so. Looks like a dead heat to me which will be problematic to say the least.

Don't think for a second that CVON represents an accurate cross section of the electorate. From where I'm sitting, Kamala is rightfully tanking. Regardless of your feelings about her opponent, Kamala in her own right is a terrible, unlikable and unqualified candidate - and people are seeing that. She never could have secured her spot as the Democratic nominee in her own right in a fair primary. Jeez, look how she tanked in 2020.

Pollsters are trying to compensate for Trump's previous undercounting, plus there was a large dump of conservative leaning polls these past few weeks. Add into that the fact that early voting/mail in numbers from last year were such an outlier because of COVID making direct comparison nearly impossible. Long story short I have no idea what to expect and what narratives are real at this point. No outcome would really "shock' me.

This is the best picture I could find of the "crowd" that was there. Maybe a 100 people? Using folding chairs??? The venue has240,000 square feet of uninterrupted space across five flexible halls.

They are overcounting the Trump vote and undercounting women who don't normally vote but are voting this time because they don't want to have to register their uterus with the government. But look at the latest ABC news poll... She's really up by 7 points nationally. It's not going to be as close as everyone thinks.
