She is pulling out of NC. Tell me more about how well this is going.

She pulled ads in NC to redeploy and focus on Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.

You need to stop believing the spin coming from right wing sources.

Harris campaign deploys ambitious GOTV, relief efforts in western NC

BY: ROB SCHOFIELD - OCTOBER 29,

Despite the hurricane’s devastating impacts, the campaign reports that it has been able to keep its operations up and running post-Helene, with offices in Buncombe, Henderson, Watauga, Burke, and Jackson counties, while maintaining a staff of more than 20 individuals dedicated to the state’s western region that has been working on both get-out-the-vote efforts and hurricane relief.

Among the activities reported by the campaign in recent days:

  • It is continuing to work directly with the City of Boone and the City of Asheville to deliver supplies to support relief efforts.
  • Harris-Walz staffers have traveled on multiple occasions to Tennessee and South Carolina to pick up supplies requested by local officials, such as water, shelf-stable food, batteries and toiletries and deliver them directly to locally sponsored community centers in Asheville and Boone.
  • It brought in tractor trailer trucks of water (two to Asheville, one to Boone) and water pickups from nearby towns/states for distribution to organizers, volunteers, and the community.
  • It has maintained voter education and mobilization canvassing efforts across western counties — all of which have included a "wellness check” to check in on residents and their needs in the aftermath of the hurricane ahead of conversations about voting.
  • All told, the campaign has knocked on more than 10,000 doors in western North Carolina during the past week and recruited nearly 400 volunteers in the Asheville area alone.
  • Maintaining a pair of toll-free voter assistance hotlines with a team of live operators available to help voters with any and all questions.

BBQ ballots on the menu?
