More Republicans are choosing to vote early vs 2020. In enough numbers relative to the total number of registered Republicans that dictates fewer votes on Election Day. Fewer Democrats are voting early because Covid isn't keeping them from voting on Election Day. It's always good to have votes "in the bank" so to speak because you never know how many are showing up Tuesday. But there's this delusion that Republicans are raking in early votes AND not see it cannibalize election day votes. It will. It remains to be seen how much, and what Democratic turnout will be Tuesday.
