That doesn't mean I support Trump, but I do recognise that he is increasingly likely to win if the Dems don't get a new candidate. this is the reality we are in.

Carry on with your very serious adult conversation about your confusion over why people don't like this woman or want her in the spotlight: "I just don't get why people don't like the Michael Scott of politics."

They should say he was dealing with a serious medical issue during the debate and was trying to soldier through it but couldn't. He steps down ass president and becomes a sympathetic figure. Harris would just have to come out and look presidential...which she can do. I think she'd win.

We shall see, I don't give Harris much chance so I'd rather see Biden stay POTUS but drop as a candidate.
June 28, 20241 yr Biden needs to bow out. I would still rather have a full blown "Weekend at Bernie's" situation with Biden than have Trump again. I don't like Harris. She'd almost definitely be better than either Biden or Trump. I'm gonna start taking more antidepressants. Procus is a horsey. Neigh neigh neigh.
June 28, 20241 yr CNN is full of crap a majority undecided voters on their panel went to Biden last night. Even the guy on Young Turks said nobody in their right minds thinks Biden did well last night let alone well enough to have a majority swing to him.

And I'm not even sure about the state level rules about getting on the ballots, that might even be too late. The state level rules put the Democratic nominee on the ballot. Whoever is nominated at the convention. I think they would need Biden to refuse to accept the nomination. So the delegates vote for him, and he declines. Then everyone is free to vote for someone else.

I used to tolerate the token Armenian chick on that show way back when she was moderately hot Hopefully she'll transition to audio-only podcasts soon
June 28, 20241 yr I will say this - Trump and the GOP need to be careful here. If they continue hammering Biden, they will start generating sympathy for an elderly man who can't fight back. The smart move would be to back off and start attacking Harris, Newsom, Whitmer, etc.

He needs to be the one to tell Biden that, for the good of the country, he needs to refuse the nomination. Biden has an ego for sure, but I do think he's a decent man who desperately wants to stop a 2nd Trump term. If Obama can convince him that someone like Whitmer is a better bet to beat Trump, hopefully he steps aside.
