cheeto has been great for the cable news networks. they'll do anything to keep him relevant & keep those ratings up...even the networks that bash him 24/7.

I quoted Moonves yesterday but it's exactly like living 2016 all over again. Bad for America, Great for CBS.

i think the point was made before that his piss poor character traits and behavior have become the norm and while some news outlets are still reporting on it, we've become numb to it.

also, if you're politician and decide to politicalize your ancestral roots, you should probably vet that info first, but she didnt because she saw what she thought was a low hanging virture signal.

agreed...she definitely should have. i think she honestly believed she was part native american too...it's what she was told growing up.  her family f'd her!

Neither solution is good optics, sticking with a gibbering Octagenarian just because he refuses to accept that the games up isn't going to win over voters either. The only reason people like Pelosi won't get off the fence is because she's terrified people will realise she's even older than Biden.

If nothing else what needs to come out of this whole bleak farce is some sort of scheme of mandatory reselection rather than just waving through the same dusty old farts who entered Congress just after Fleetwood Mac released Rumours until they die or retire.

You're living in a fantasy world. That's never happening dude. And you keep failing to understand why we have so many dusty old farts in office to begin with: That's who the voters wanted because a large portion of them are also dusty old farts themselves.

Robert Kennedy Jr. and his worm, is more fit to lead than Donald Trump.

He was on Bill Maher's podcast and came off as somewhat normal.

I'm starting to think RFK Jr is pulling more from Biden than he is from Trump. With Biden dominating the headlines, there was barely any attention paid to RFK Jr's alleged dog eating photo or admission of sexual assault (which would normally appeal to GOP voters if history is any indication.)

Trump, the guy who didn't know what NATO was, is the clear choice.

OK, I've tried to explain it to you as simply as I can, I'm just going to put you on ignore now, because you're going for some sort of gold medal of missing the point, genuinely are you on the autism spectrum?

He claims it was a goat fwiw. Not that I would consider voting for RFK or that I think he has any chance. He jsut came off as far less loony than I thought.

yeah...for some reason rfk is fairly popular among gen z voters who would normally lean left. probably because they're stupid.

He's pro environment and anti corporate greed, so he has some of that Bernie appeal. Even with the anti Vax thing. On Bill Maher he said he wasn't against vaccines. He said that he didn't trust the pharma companies to produce them responsibly.

So he says, apparently a vetrinarian has disputed that based on the skeletal structure, but either way, admission of sexual assualt should be a non-starter.

Proving Trump is a Liar with facts.

You don't honestly believe that right? He's always tried to hide behind this "just asking questions" facade even before covid.

In June 2019, Kennedy and his wife, the actress Cheryl Hines, visited Samoa, a trip Kennedy later wrote was arranged by Edwin Tamasese, a Samoan local anti-vaccine influencer.

Vaccine rates had plummeted after two children died in 2018 from a measles vaccine that a nurse had incorrectly mixed with a muscle relaxant. The government suspended the vaccine program for months. By the time Kennedy arrived, health authorities were trying to get back on track.

He was treated as a distinguished guest, traveling in a government vehicle, meeting with the prime minister and, according to Kennedy, many health officials and the health minister.

He also met with anti-vaccine activists, including Tamasese and another well-known influencer, Taylor Winterstein, who posted a photograph of herself and Kennedy on her Instagram.

"The past few days have been profoundly monumental for me, my family and for this movement to date,” she wrote, adding hashtags including #investigatebeforeyouvaccinate.

A few months later, a measles epidemic broke out in Samoa, killing 83 people, mostly infants and children in a population of about 200,000.

Public health officials said at the time that anti-vaccine misinformation had made the nation vulnerable.

The crisis of low vaccination rates and skepticism created an environment that was "ripe for the picking for someone like RFK to come in and in assist with the promotion of those views,” said Helen Petousis-Harris, a vaccinologist from New Zealand who worked on the effort to build back trust in the measles vaccine in Samoa.

When established structures offers voters options that are offering slightly different flavors of the same thing they will look for an alternative, the right wing 'alternative' is Trump, presenting himself as some sort of maverick sticking it to the system (or morons like Gaetz and Boebert for congress), the young left voter has literally no one, so RFK gets a vote simply by not being essentially the same old crap with a different color of rosette.

I don't know much about him, I jsut saying how he came off in the podcast. I'm not even remotely considering voting for him, so I don't do a lot of research on him. I'm voting for Biden's head in a jar!

So ignore me, already. No, not autistic, I think you are a dopey trumpcuck.

I'll be honest, getting the Democrats screaming about project 2025 would be a classic political strategy, because if the Dems have raised merry hell about all the wildest horseshit it contains. Then the Trump admin only does the very mildest stuff that it was always completely open about doing, and then says to the electorate look at all this scaremongering about me, I was never going to do this, they lied to you.

I mean does anyone seriously believe a Trump presidency is enacting a ban on pornography? Who's that winning votes with, the Amish?

There have been people on here that have advocated for that.

Yes. By then voting won't matter. Once Trump is voted into office, elections become irrelevant.
