The Republicans know that Trump will win if everything else remains equal, Trump has committed any number of gaffes and flat out crimes in his life that would destroy any normal candidacies. He is electorally bullet proof, unless he had literally the exact same issue as Biden has now. Just pointing at Trump and saying look he's a crook who talks nonsense hasn't worked the last 10 years and it isn't going to save Biden at this point either, nor would it excuse putting up a candidate that is mentally unfit to do the job in the face of all the evidence. The only way to beat Trump is to get a competent candidate and make a positive case for what you're going to for American's to improve their lives, you can't keep just fighting him in his own backyard of BS terms and attacking him with wild tales of the end of democracy because he's always going to point to it as the establishment trying to stop him. Give the Voters something worth voting for, don't just make it about voting to stop Trump, that's exactly what he wants, even if he can't have a mentally hobbled Joe Biden to beat.

You don't have to win every election as long as your opponent cedes ground to beat you.

Boebert, who recently won the Republican nomination for the US House in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, was driving on the Vail Pass portion of I-70 westbound in Colorado on May 12, the Colorado State Patrol told CBS. It was around 10:05 a.m. when she was caught driving 84 mph in her black Mazda CX-50, speeding 19 mph over the 65 mph speed limit. As a result, the Republican was issued a $174.50 ticket with no other charges on her citation, state patrol said. Colorado’s Department of Revenue mandates that tickets must be paid off within 20 days of the violation to prevent the citation from being sent to court. If a ticket is more than 40 days old, the department says it can no longer accept payment, and the case will be referred to court. Court records seen by CBS show that Boebert had her citation referred to an Eagle County court due to a late payment. Drew Sexton, the congresswoman’s campaign manager, confirmed that the speeding ticket was eventually paid off on July 3. Sexton also told Westword, a Denver publication, that Boebert had sent a check for the ticket to the revenue department rather than paying it through the online system, but the check somehow wound up being sent back to her. The spokesperson said it was unclear why she sent a check rather than using the online system. "I don’t know what happened before the ticket came to us,” an Eagle County court clerk told the local outlet. "She called and said, ‘I have a ticket with a court date and I need to take care of it.’ She contacted the court on July 3 and paid it online." SCOTUS nominations that happened during his first term before people saw exactly what a maniac Trump is. A national poll is pretty much useless when everyone knows how 44 of the states are voting already. The only relevant polling is how Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania are trending, because Biden needs to sweep those -- and Democrats should always be doing in-depth polling in those states.
