July 16, 20241 yr Once again, Nate Silver getting clowned after speaking authoritatively on an subject he knows nothing about, this time by chair of the DNC... Also dropping all pretenses when he says "the good news is there will be consequences if they force through Biden". The transformation to right-wing grifter is almost complete.

Trump represents the worst base impulses of the right in this country. If it was a legit attempt to kill him, he put more people in danger with his stupid photo op. So yeah he’s not a sympathetic figure, at all

Nate Silver is wrong. As usual. But he is also trying to make a point about DNC pushing Biden into the general election without much momentum. There will be consequences for losing to Trump. I think is what he is saying? Look, Democrats had their chance to replace Biden but they pushed him through the primaries with little competition. They made their bed, now they have to lie in it.

He tipped his hand without even realizing it.

July 16, 20241 yr John King is the goat, but Trump isn't winning MI, even after getting shot. WI or PA maybe, but not MI.

Biden picking up MI and WI but losing PA means you need a sweep in AZ, NV, and GA too. That would be a pretty unlikely scenario, imo.
July 16, 20241 yr Author Good lord. Screaming at the camera so hard that the veins in your head are popping out might not be the best way to set the "turn down the temperature" example.

Aggregates of state polling show MI, WI, PA, and NV are leaning red, but all are still squarely within the MOE. This is gonna be close. Biden is not out of it by any means. 4 months in politics is an eternity,
