She’s basically lock step with Biden policy wise. Neither of them ever supported Defund the Police and they’ve boosted funding for community policing far more than Trump ever did. In fact, every one of his budgets as President called for cuts. As for better options, it’s not that easy. Without her on the ticket there’s a chance red states could remove the Dems from the ballot entirely. And we both know if they can, they will. Not a chance I’m particularly interested in taking.

July 18, 20241 yr Biden will announce by the weekend he won’t be seeking reelection. Every high ranking Democrat has now told him either publicly or privately to step aside. There’s no stemming the tide at this point. Harris will be the nominee, although she wouldn’t be my choice if I were them. The Party has simply left this too long for any other practical course.
