So for the registered repubs... who are you leaning to or hoping the GOP props up?

Disclaimer: obviously not trump

I'd be OK with Haley or Scott (Christie has no chance). Haley might actually be a good President.

Doesn't bother you that she said she'd support Trump if he was the nominee even if he was convicted?

It does, but Asa Hutchinson and Chris Christie aren't realistic options. I'm hoping she is saying what she has to politically.

have to agree on christie, it is what it is. i am not a fan of scott, but man would that turn things upside down. so would haley to a point. i mean, could imagine these trumpers having to disgest that fact that wouldn't be voting for an old white guy ?

It's all a moot point anyway. If by some miracle Trump doesn't get the gop nomination. He runs as a 3rd party (MAGA party) candidate. Biden wins easily.

Getting on the ballot as a 3rd party candidate takes effort and organization. Trump is terrible at both of those things.

Even if he couldn't get on the ballots for a couple swing states, at the end of the day all he'd have to do is just tell his cultists to write his name in. I'd bet money at least 5% of voters would actually do it. Even knowing it would guarantee a loss for Haley or whoever else it may be, they wouldn't care. He really is that petty, and they literally are that stupid.

I could see that. Or he just tells his cult to stay home.

It's all elementary. As @Gannan said, Trump will be the nominee unless he dies.

IMO, Biden will win either way.

I think Scott's pretty much done.  Having gay rumors along with his obviously...limited appeal to the right is probably the death knell.  Plus, from what I understand he hasn't had particularly strong debates.  And on top of it, he's also from SC, so if Haley's way up on him, he might as well drop out.

I like Scott but his problem is he’s trying to run a decent campaign.

You can’t do that and win, anymore. You have to be a heel.

He'd win dead!  Hologram/AI Trump would beat any of the others...handily.

At best its a 3 horse race between Pumpkin head, Haley, and Florida Man. The rest should drop out. There's just no reason.

Fox has been setting him up to drain off democratic votes.  I really doubt it’s gonna work though. First off no Democrats watch Fox News and secondly when they hear his opinions they’re repelled by them. I had one Republican friend who was surprised when I told him that Democrats think that Kennedy is a joke. I guess they think the name will get them back.

My gut reaction was "Who would actually vote for this nut?" but immediately after thought of 40 some million voting for Trump.

I think he is choking down the McD's as fast as he can.

For real. They don't seem to realize that a man with a famous name, anti-vax beliefs, and antisemitic conspiracy theories is more of a risk to peel off Trump voters than Biden voters.
