July 22, 20241 yr So what are the campaign finance laws about how to liquidate the cash if anything is left after a un/successful campaign concludes?

Trump=$2600 more in taxes and God knows what else. He's the worst in my lifetime. Obama was 2nd with the ACA. They both affected me. Luckily, I am way past childbearing age, but I whole heartedly believe that government has no place in the abortion issue. If a woman/minor child wants an abortion that's between the woman and a health professional. Bringing religious beliefs of Congress, Senate, Judges into the issue violates the separation of Church and State. Not what our founders wanted, yet here we are.
July 22, 20241 yr Even Pence knows the difference between someone who puts the interests of the American people over his own, and an immoral carnival barker that cares only about himself.

Biden dropping out had absolutely nothing to do with the interests of the America people You guys have had a really rough few weeks.
July 22, 20241 yr Well, that's the last potential competitor. Other than Michelle, who will never run.

That's your former Vice President, Sling Blade.. The same one you guys wanted to execute in public because he lacked the courage to hand over the election to Trump.

And any attempt to replace her at the top of the ticket would hurt there. It's a no brainer. This is the hope. No doubt people don't really like her but if she can be a positive pull on turnout that will be all that is necessary to keep Trump out of the WH.

Newsom would be a debacle given all that is happening in California (read about Oakland in particular). Whitmer doesn't have a huge national profile. Shapiro -- I'm not sure how the Democratic base would react to a Jewish candidate (it's sad this is the case, but it is). Harris allows them to keep all the campaign cash. I think Shapiro as VP would be smart -- might hurt with the far left, but Harris is stronger there than Biden. If he can deliver PA, that's huge for her. We are in completely uncharted territory here. So far, the Democratic enthusiasm is surprising, but it's kind of like a bad team getting a high draft pick -- they have hope again, but no idea if you got Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf. I've seen people calling it ~60/40 Trump, which feels right. Shapiro is extremely popular here, even a third of all Trump voters approve of his job as governor.
