The Democrats aren't a cult, so a critical mass of Democrats and never-Trump moderates lobbied for him to step down. He said he would when the numbers dictated, and they did. So he was true to his word and stepped down. So while you're correct that "they wanted Biden out", there wasn't some conspiracy to remove a president whose record is quite good for some kind of insidious reason. The voters and party members could all see that while Biden thought he could continue, he was no longer viable. But it had to be his call, and ultimately it was. You're buying way too much into the preferred right-wing narrative that there is some puppet master on the left. The left is far too disorganized for that.
