I lose respect for anyone voting for a man who tried to overthrow the American government. 🤷.

Be better than I've been today. DE was spot on and it woke me up. He could have replied with something nasty, but it made me want to be a better person.

We all have emotions tied to this, but I honestly like most of the people on this forum for good reason. If people like Trump because he did that I'd agree, but we live in a binary system and sides are picked. We may disagree, but that doesn't make someone a bad person.

I respect HE. I don't think we need to go there.

Dave Portnoy and Clay Travis are garbage.  Check out Stephen King for some correct opinions.

Its pretty amazing no one said "I thought better of you" when people were celebrating the assassination attempt. But if you disagree with these people.... thats how you lose their respect. Dave Portnoy's video today was so spot on...

He just went on a tirade calling Kamala a who*e, sl**, and a bunch of other words that only come up whenever a woman has a sexual past but I'm glad you think better of him at the end of the day

Die Hard is a single dad if I remember correctly.  I’ll give him props for that alone.  I hope Arthur Jackson doesn’t have kids…

Nobody celebrated the assassination attempt. That's silly, why would we when he missed?

die hard was one of the few pro-Trump / anti-Biden guys who actually showed up here in the days following the 2020 election. I've always considered him more of a stand-up guy than the typical Trump supporters here, and he's not pro-Trump.

Hug it out

Presidential Candidate VP Harris:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/live/2024-election-updates-kamala-harris-rakes-in-campaign-donations-after-biden-drops-out-of-race-democrats-offer-early-support-104345809.html

As many of you know, before I was elected as vice president, before I was elected as United States senator, I was the elected attorney general of California, I mentioned that before that I was a courtroom prosecutor," Harris said. "In those roles I took on perpetrators of all kinds. Predators who abused women. Fraudsters who ripped off consumers. Cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain. So hear me when I say I know Donald Trump's type."

Harris then compared and contrasted her prior experience with Trump's recent legal woes and affiliations.

"As a young prosecutor, when I was in the Alameda County district attorney's office in California, I specialized in cases involving sexual abuse," Harris continued. "Donald Trump was found liable by a jury for committing sexual abuse. As attorney general of California, I took on one of our country's largest for-profit colleges and put it out of business. Donald Trump ran a for-profit college, Trump University, that was forced to pay $25 million to the students it scammed. As district attorney, to go after polluters, I created one of the first environmental justice units in our nation. Donald Trump stood in Mar-a-Lago and told Big Oil lobbyists he would do their bidding for a $1 billion campaign contribution. During the foreclosure crisis, I took on the big Wall Street banks and won $20 billion for California families, holding those banks accountable for fraud. Donald Trump was just found guilty of 34 counts of fraud."

Harris's words, and her even delivery, were music to some Democrats' ears.

"Great, well-delivered kickoff speech from the @VP at what is now HER campaign HQ, drawing a sharp contrast with Trump, their visions and values," David Axelrod, former chief strategist for President Barack Obama, wrote in a post on X. "Game on!"

I appreciate that and know it only goes so far. I thought I was being funny and drifted back into the guy I was before the election because of strongly I hate things from CA. Still working on it I guess.
