Totally dude. You guys got this in the bag. Nothing to worry about.

Not sure. Maybe the fake enthusiasm can last 4 months. I said a few times now, Im not sure how long it will or wont last. You talk about me speaking in absolutes, and then you have to pretend I am saying things that I have not said. I know "if" is a big word, and "I dont know" is a foreign concept to some of you geniuses in here. But try a little harder to let these things sink in instead of wasting everyone's time with your poor reading comprehension.

You make these absolute statements and then act like they are fact. Losing a primary does not mean "no one in our party" liked her. It just means they liked someone better at the time. The funny think about Republicans right now is they are going out of their way to speak for democrats. It's almost comical at this point.

"They are going to be so upset they didn't get to choose"

"Not one democrat even likes Harris"

"This entire thing is going to rub people the wrong way and they won't vote for her"

Let me assure you, we are very enthusiastic and cannot wait to vote for Harris.

They’re trying to speak it into existence because they know the only thing that decides Presidential elections is Democratic turnout. Thankfully no one on the left cares what they say.

yes. Hes a very traditional religious person whos views differ from mine on certain issues.

Some of it is his opinion, and of course he can be disingenuous to try to make his points sound stronger at times.

But, there are still some good points raised when you pick through some of his own commentary and take out the points that are truly based in reality.

She wasnt good at her job. She wasnt a good presidential candidate, and won 0 votes in the primaries when she ran (now she is just planted there as our candidate). And a ton of people are faking enthusiasm. The very shady way that she is being planted in this position without the public getting to vote is going to rub a ton of people the wrong way. Tha fake enthusiasm will fade over the next few months. Especially, the more she has to appear in public.

She is a little more polished than she was years ago. I used to cringe when she talked, the Rogan interview had some moments. My wife wasn’t a big fan but thinks she is better too. And yes, I feel like a POS for judging what people sound like, but this job is a sales job more than anything, and it matters. I hope she doesn’t go off the rails. We will see, but currently, no one has been rubbed the wrong way more than MAGA and the "not a trump supporter” crowd. The Dems are more United no than I’ve seen them since Obama.

Do you think Harris would have won in 2020 if Biden wasn't on the ticket?

There’s no such thing as fake enthusiasm. People are either enthusiastic or they’re not. And Dems are extremely enthusiastic about Kamala. I’m sure it won’t last forever but it’ll sure as sheet last through the election because their excitement is two fold: voting for Kamala and getting rid of Trump forever.

Trust me, NHS sent me a letter that I'm no longer welcome at two dozen spelialists' offices and now I have to drive all the way to Butleigh.

I hope that's pronounced butt-lay. Otherwise it's a missed opportunity.

But Sorkin did suggest Romney on Sunday until Biden left and he took it back

Romney would be better than either candidate but if you think Dems would nominate him you need to pass that ish to the left because I need a hit.

She had no chance. Literally- no one liked her. Literally, she won 0 electoral votes.

This is emblematic of how hilarious it is when you try to pretend like you know what you're talking about when you clearly haven't got a clue. Stick to taping ankles, because this is just getting sad.

Sorkin suggested it before he took it back. I'm not suggesting it.

Quote

In a controversial essay for The New York Times published Sunday, the Oscar-winning screenwriter and creator of "The West Wing" argued Democrats should choose Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, as their presidential nominee instead of President Joe Biden.

But just hours after the op-ed was published, Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to succeed him, leading Sorkin to retract his pitch.

They sure are. But again, Im not sure how long itll last in such great numbers. Will enough of them stay on board all the way through the election? It probably depends on how much they hear her speak.

I wouldnt doubt she has some more polish with experience. But she still isnt up to par.

Her speech on knowing trumps kind did sound tough. For sure. But put her on the debate stage and let her try that prosecutor act again when he is present to shove her horrible record right in her face and make her words fall flat in that very moment.

Its very much about getting Trump out. Its not at all about voting for Kamala. That is why it is fake. Kamala is just your means to an end. Everyone knows you would vote for anyone but trump. But the entire party is not that way. There will be some reasonable democrats that question this process just like they question all of Trump's insults to democracy. Otherwise, as shapiro said, youre just a party of hypocrites. Not everyone will be on board with being that. You are. Many wont.

It’s stupid on its face but it’s even dumber when you realize Biden got zero delegates (not sure why he said electoral votes) in the 2008 primary and then after being VP, he wiped the floor with Trump.

 I’m sorry that the enthusiasm for Harris has clearly broken you. I can tell you really want all this to be true.

I have jumped in to so many discussions I knew nothing about in CVON and dominated you guys just for the fun of it because you are all so willing to act like imbeciles to defend positions that you know are ridiculous just because the left told you to.

I can crush you with my brain turned off. Have many times.

Over the past week or 2, these CVON threads have been by far the most active on the board. Lucky for you training camp begins tomorrow. And school sports begin for me in two weeks. Ill leave you guys alone again to impress each other with your bull crap and no one to call you out on any of it. Your echo chamber will echo for you again and youll have your little safe zone back.

Then I guess "fake" also worked well enough in 2020, unless you're implying there was some massive groundswell of enthusiasm to vote for a 78 year old Joe Biden.

Not sure why this is so confusing for you rubes, but the best advantage Harris has is that she's running against the worst president in American history. A cheating, rapist, felon who is the oldest nominee that's ever ran and showing clear signs of dementia every time he speaks. She doesn't need to be perfect, only better than that lying treasonous shitbag you guys fawn over like little school girls at a Justin Beiber concert.

I dont give a damn. Im considering staying home. If Vance is even farther right than trump, Im out.

I dont know if stuff about registering your uterus is true or some crazy made up stuff to scare people. Once I find out more about that guy, thatll be my deciding factor on voting for the Trump ticket or not and just staying home.

Wont be for Kamala. That is for sure.

There were the anyone but trump voters in large numbers, but they legitimately convinced a lot of people on his chops as a politician that enough people actually believed he was presidential. That will not exist with Kamala.

I dont think Kamala gets the same turnout Biden did.

What I realize, and you fail to realize is that this echo chamber of CVON is an extremely small sample that represents some of the most far left extremists that there are. What you feel, and say in here is not all that rational.

Are you sure?  He said he knows what he’s talking about and that he casually owned us all without even trying. That sounds l like someone who’s confident and well informed.

Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) has argued that calling Kamala Harris a beneficiary of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy (DEI) is the equivalent to calling her the n-word.
